Although his rep denies every ounce of this story – I TOTALLY believe it. Joe Simpson STALKED Nick Lachey during the final months of his divorce to his oldest daughter, Jessica. Maybe Joe wasn’t the one actually hiding behind dumpsters, but you can bet that he paid someone to do it. Perhaps he was trying to catch Nick “cheating” before the actual divorce went through so Jessica wouldn’t have to pay out any alimony. Does Joe put this much effort into Ashlee’s life? No right?

Sources say Jessica’s manager dad, Joe Simpson, was mighty curious about what his son-in-law was up to during the seven-month separation before the marriage officially ended June 30.
He particularly wanted to know what Lachey was doing on a night last spring when both Nick’s soon-to-be girlfriend, Vanessa Minnillo, and Jessica’s friend and former assistant CaCee Cobb were all in the same nightclub. “Joe called the club people after hearing Nick was there and demanded to see the security videotape,” says an insider.
The club declined to cooperate. According to the source: “Joe was looking to incriminate Nick. He told the club, ‘If you ever want to see my daughter there, you’ll give me what I want.’” (source)

This one is going to be REALLY hard. She is overly made up in this shot. It almost doesn’t look like the actress. I guess I will give you a hint. She normally is very plain. She is a comedian.

Jessica Simpson was spotted at LAX just days after her encounter with Nick Lachey at Hyde Lounge. Did she need to get away? Or is this a business trip? Should we even talk about the flannel shirt? I’ll leave it alone. Her pooch is cute though.
