I thought I’d surf around a bit before I closed up my computer for the night and came across two very important stories I just had to share with you. Nicole Richie has responded to the NY Post Blind Item that insinuated she had gastric bypass surgery.

So i gain a little bit of weight, and I’m acussed of having a gastric bypass surgery reversed? Its pathetic of Page Six to insinuate i have done this. Anyone that knows anything about this surgery would know that legally, you must be AT LEAST 100 pounds overweight to even have the surgery done, and is a serious, life changing procedure; not one to throw around as a joke or a rumor. Ive statement I am in the process of putting on weight, and that should be enough. Its a shame to hear that instead of hearing supportive words, someone needs to spin it into some negative, absurd way.

If it isn’t her – then who? Did Page Six make the whole thing up? Some of you have said they were talking about Star Jones. But that was like a year ago. I doubt it. Damn that newspaper! Damn it all to hell! Here’s to hoping The Awful Truth will pick this story up.

Next up with have Michelle Rodriguez. I wrote a while back that I thought she was a lesbian (not that there is anything wrong with that – think Seinfeld). She finally came out. Her girlfriend spilled the beans for The Advocate.

Michelle is currently hooking up with Kristanna Loken, that chick from Terminator 27.

Who cares about that Armani wedding gown Katie Holmes is going to wear on the day of her wedding. I want to see what $3,000 worth of lingerie looks like. DAYYUUUMMM. And I thought the $50 I spend on my Victoria’s Secret bras was a waste!

Tom Cruise’s bride-to-be went to Le Bra Lingerie in West Hollywood and spent more than $3,000 on lacy underthings, more than $1,000 of which was for a “bridal collection” set. Among the purchases: a Chantilly lace bridal collection, reports a source. Among the goodies: a bra that cost $440, a $340 thong, a garter belt for $220, and silk stockings that went for $95 – ” for a total of $1,190. (source)

So I asked my friend Lesley over at FashionTribes to give me a few dresses similar to that wonderful red number Kelly Clarkson wore a few days ago at the Tony Bennett concert. Here is what she came up with:
Kelly Clarkson sporting a classy, newly highlighted ‘do, full-waisted red dress, and a pretty much nothing in the way of bling or accessories – an interesting, if under-the-radar, style choice. To replicate the look and feel of this fab frock, look for a a plunging V-neck, and go for a dress with a defined self-belted waist: at the natural waist if you’re more of a traditional hour-glass shape, or, if you are either low-waisted or have more of a pear-shaped silhouette, choose a higher empire/babydoll waist.
However, don’t make the same mistake as Kelly of pairing a red outfit with red shoes. Never, never, never attempt to match red shoes & a red outfit with red. Never. Ever. For some reason, it never works – even if everything were to come from the same exact dye lot. Instead, red outfits look best with shoes in caramel & tan shades for day, and for evening: black or metallic.
