Too Close For Comfort

This should be illegal. Look at how close this photographer is to Jennifer Garner and Violet. I think that photographers shouldn’t even be allowed in stores. Perhaps it was just a fan taking the shot. But as a mother, I still find this a bit intrusive.

  1. Most likely it was taken far away and the zoom facility on the camera was used, nowadays with expensive cameras u can take photos far away and zoom in when u develop them, I doubt the person taking the photograph was that close.

  2. I agree with everyone.

Look at the yellow lady in the background. It looks like the paps got an earful from her!

  3. maybe you can help discourage them by, say, NOT publishing this photo on your site?

all in all, i love jgar and lil violet too!

  4. Agree with Jen – Vera. If you really had such a problem with this kind of photo, why publish it in the first place? You could have written instead an article with a caveat explaining why you refused to post the image.

But why not post it? This is, after all, a pure gossip site, whose very existence relies on paparazzi photos like this one you chose to post. The paps did their job – took the photo – and you did your job – posted it. The symbiotic relationship which has garnered you attention, interviews and awards, continues.

Chastising the paparazzi, the fundamental life source of your blog, sounds a lot like biting the hands that feeds you.

  5. Does anyone here have a digital camera, I can take a photo on my sony one from the other side of the room and zoom in so it looks like Im up close.

  6. for real its too much i mean comeon ,i use to wonder how they got the mary kate oslen taking a coke from a fridge in a supermarket pic cos it was so near ,now i know jess paparazzi shuld stop it its too intrusive…inside the stores.comeon maybe outside i mean there is no privacy
