ABC has officially announced that Rosie O’Donnell will NOT return to The View.

“We had hoped that Rosie would be with us until the end of her contract three weeks from now, but Rosie has informed us that she would like an early leave. Therefore, we part ways, thank her for her tremendous contribution to ‘The View’ and wish her well.”

No replacements have been announced.

I know the majority of you don’t really care about what is happening between Rosie and Elizabeth on The View. But I am so darn fascinated with it that I can’t stop posting the updates. Rosie is still very upset about everything that went down. Readers can chat with her on Rosie.com and SOMETIMES a real question are asked. Rosie admitted that Elizabeth gets briefed on current events so she can defend herself and Bush on the show.
In other news, I watched today’s pre-taped show and I think that Rosie has issues with Joy as well. I’ve been noticing that Joy has been trying to get more and more controversial. I think it’s because Rosie gets all the press these days and Joy is a bit jealous. Well, she called herself a “nappy headed hoe” while talking to my girl crush Padma Lakshmi. Rosie said “3 more weeks folks!” and ended the segment.
In another skit, Rosie and Padma were talking about influential women that they admire. It was a very serious conversation. Then Joy said, “My idol is Paris Hilton” and Rosie said… “SHE ALWAYS HAS TO RUIN IT.” It wasn’t part of the main audio stream. But I heard it because I was listening for her response (and because I have nothing else to do in this stupid hospital room).

The other day we had a little discussion about Halle Berry and whether or not she looked pregnant. The shirt she wore gave the illusion of a bump. PLUS Halle was walking around hiding her stomach with her shopping bags so the paparazzi couldn’t get a good shot of her profile. Her reps even came out and denied the rumor before it spread like wildfire. Well… this picture confirms it.
