Should Celebrities Tip More?
Posted on July 03, 2007 at 12:26 PM
Nicole Richie and Joel Madden went out to The Cheesecake Factory with a group of friends and left a typical tip (I’m assuming that means 15-20%). A little debate began about whether or not celebrities should tip more on Nicole-Style. What do you think? Should celebrities pay more for the same service because of the salaries they earn? In other news, In Touch Weekly has officially printed that Nicole is pregnant and getting married. That’s quite a risk.
“Nicole didn’t want to tell anyone until she was past three months,” a pal explains. “She really kept the news from everyone.”

why should they pay more? They should tip based on service just like everyone else.
What #5 said. Tips are based on service; not income.
They should give more tip, of course!
I’m not a commie, but why do some actors get millions for 6 months-job? (Including the promotion-tour). They should give something back – especially to waitors who really have a low salary!
I think that they should tip more. As an ex-waitress when I would go out while living on a waitress pay I would tend to tip exactly 15%, because that is what I could barely afford that. But now that I am not waitressing and making more money I almost always tip 20% or more because one I can afford to now, two I understand that it is very hard work and I remember how it feels great to get a nice tip. Oh and three because I have 2 messy kids that always leave a mess!
The tip should relfect the service received.
I love Nicole Ritchie and I really hope she is pregnant. Joel is from my hometown so if she does have his child, there is a good chance I will see her here sometime! His family is still here.
CONGRATULATIONS NICOLE AND JOEL!!!
I completely agree with amy. Good job = tip Bad job = no tip. Plain and simple
I totally agree with #5.
