Lindsay Lohan is claiming innocence after being arrested for two counts of driving under the influence, possession of cocaine and driving with a suspended license. After being arrested early Tuesday morning, and then being released on a $25,000 bail a few hours later, Lindsay has now sent out an email saying,

“Yes. I am innocent… did not do drugs they’re not mine.”

Ok let’s just say the drugs were not hers, that doesn’t explain the .12 blood alcohol level! I really hope she gets all the help she can get and gets her act back together, even if that means jail.

Catherine Zeta Jones made an appearance on NBC Today this morning with her co-star Aaron Eckhart. She kept busy making pies and faces only a mother could love On the show she talked about her experience starring in No Reservations as a chef.

“I don’t cook. I pass the kitchen, but just to get to the other room.”

On preparing for the role by spending two weeks in a real restaurant, an environment she has never worked in before:

“It was like going to school for the first day when I arrived in that kitchen,” she said, also calling the experience, “terrifying.”

On waiting tables:

“It was a very interesting lesson how people don’t make eye contact sometimes with the server. It took a while until somebody said to me, “Has anyone ever told you you look like that actress, Catherine Zeta-Jones?’” She would respond, “”Yeah, I get that all the time.”

On similarities with her character:

“I can equate some of her characteristics. Not that I’m as completely compulsive and a perfectionist the way she is in the kitchen. Her life revolves around the kitchen and she’s a perfectionist and she’s in control in the kitchen. [But] when I was single without any kids, I used to do that with my career in a way. Not to the extent my character does in the movie. But I did nothing else. If somebody said, “Do you want to go to China? There’s a movie.’ I’d say, “What flight? Pack my bag.’ “

On finding a new appreciation for cooks and kitchens:

“I was there in a working kitchen. It just fascinated me how everything moved so beautifully and fluidly. If you took the sound out, the clanking of the pans and the sizzling of the pans, it was like a ballet – ” the way they moved, no one was bumping into each other.”

Here’s the beautiful Anne Hathaway leaving “The Late Show With David Letterman”. She’s out promoting her new movie, “Becoming Jane” where she plays Jane Austen herself in a “true” romantic love story. I’m really excited about the movie, because I love Anne and it’s always nice when movies come out that you can take your friends too. Some would call it a chick flick, but I call it a good time.

This week’s Star Magazine features a story about Christina Aguilera disconnect with her husband, Jordan Bratman. Jordan wants the singer to SLOW DOWN. But Christina is a work horse and has no intention of doing so.

“I think Jordan is concerned- and has said so,” an insider tells Star.

“But Christina has shown no sign of lightening her workload and fully intends to finish her tour [ending Aug. 3]. If she’s feeling exhausted, she’s hiding it. She’s almost overcompensating, saying how great she feels to ease his worries, because the most important thing to Jordan is a healthy mama and baby. Christina has never done things traditionally. She’s worried nonstop since she was a child. She’s not about to sacrifice everything so she can ease Jordan’s worries.”

She shouldn’t have any concern at this point. Doctors have told her (according to this source) that she is perfectly healthy and will have no issues carrying this child.

“Christina told Jordan that the doctor says it’s totally possible for her to keep working and have a healthy, happy baby. But that doesn’t mean Jordan is happy about it. Christina is the center of Jordan’s world. He’s naturally worried and overprotective. He’s trying not to get angry with her, but he’s probably frustrated that she can’t see his point of view and at least cut back on her commitments a bit.”
