Jessica Simpson Wants To Go Country

Looks like Jessica Simpson is going to go back to her roots and record a country album. Her father, Joe Simpson, told PEOPLE:
“Everything in our business is about beats and I think she really wants to sing, and country music still believes in that. She’s a singer from top to bottom. And everything in the music business, especially pop music, has moved away from singers. And I think country is the the only pure, storytelling kind of genre left.”
And does he think she will be accepted by country fans?
“She’s from Texas. How could she not?”
What do you guys think? Is Jessica country enough to pull this off?

um no. look at her? she doesnt even look the least bit country, she has gone too far into hollywood to be country. does she have a nice voice though? yes I do believe she has a nice voice… but I dont know if country would be her thing.
Jessica got famous because of the Newly Wed show and now she is a boring loser with no talent.

JESSICA is A great SINGER! DO IT UP! She will do great!! I love her. She is a wonderful person
Uhh yea.. you have to be a really good singer to be able to do country.. really really good. and she is no where near that.
