To be fair Sarah Jessica Parker is in fact wearing this for the prints ads to her new movie, “Sex in The City: The Movie“. I had to post them and see what you thought because I’m pretty sure she’s wearing a blue 80′s scrunchie as a shawl. I know SATC is known for it’s fashion and all and I really do expect some over the top stuff from SJP, but this one may just be too much. What do you think?

I agree, she can wear anything. It all works for her.
She looks ridiculous. Whats with the stupid pigeon-toed stance? The shawl looks like a sleeping bag and makes her look like a very rich, Chanel wearing, homeless person. She looks like she is wearing (or stuffing in her sleeping bag/shawl) everything she owns in order to prevent someone from stealing it.

The scrunchie episode is where Burger had hiss leading lady in his book all over manhattan in a scrunchie, when Carrie said that no manhattanite would be caught dead in one, unless she used it to wash her face. I am a SATC addict! LOL!
Anyway, I think the boots are Chanel, but I could be wrong.

As Carrie Bradshaw she can do no wrong in my eyes. I love the whole "fashion as art" concept surrounding her outfits.

reminds me of the SATC-episode where she finds a scrunchie in her boyfriend´s apartment which belonged to an ex of his. And she gets so shocked and is like ,,why would anyone wear a scrunchie?"

I love the dress, and the scrunchie, well, falls under art as fashion in my book. I looked at the show this week with new eyes, Samantha always dressed rather eightish-updated without the shoulder pads, so I think her clothes still keep with her personality although in pics out of context her and Carrie seem to be dressed outlandishly, in the show it works.
sooo funny with the scrunchie! I bet they did it just because of that episode with burger and the scrunchie! lol
