Betty Beauty for Hair Down There

Posted on March 10, 2008 at 6:29 PM

Ladies, the year is 2008 and people are actually dying their own hair – down there! Bring in Betty Beauty. According to the product’s website, the founder was in Rome when she saw a hairstylist slyly slip a bag of a little extra hair dye to a woman and whisper “Per sotto, per farli combaciare” which translates to “for the hair down there…to make it match.” After reading the story, I figured that this type of product would appeal most to someone who might be going grey down there (mental image of the Sex and the City episode where Samantha tries this and ends up orange) but the dyes don’t just come in shades of brown, black, blonde and red. They have “Fun Betty” that is hot pink as well as “Sun-Burst Betty” that is orange. Though these products claim to be completely safe, I can hardly only imagine all of the impending disasters for the “hair down there.”
Cost: $20

Terax Crema

Terax Crema is a household name in beauty. A favorite of beauty editors, this super moisturizing conditioner revitalizes all hair types, especially severely damaged and chemically-treated hair. Even if your locks are fine, using a smaller amount of this miracle moisturizer can still do wonders. I can actually feel the difference if I skip this product for a shower or two.
Cost: $18.95

Alba Botanica Sea Algae Enzyme Facial Scrub

Alba Botanica Sea Algae Enzyme Facial Scrub is great if you have sensitive and oily skin, especially if your face gets irritated from normal exfoliants. I use this once or twice weekly and my skin feels totally smooth and fresh. I also love the smell of it….it reminds me of being at the beach but in a refreshed clean way. It lasts up to about 4 months (depending on amount of usage) and it’s made up of 70% organic ingredients.
Cost: $7.00 (4 fl oz)

Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Duo

Posted on March 10, 2008 at 6:28 PM

I have recently become a fan of Neutrogena products and I have found their eyeshadows creeping their way up on my “must haves” for makeup products. I really like the Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Duo Iced Coffee as a neutral tone for everyday eye wear. I love the natural “I look like I have no makeup on” look and this does just that, yet enhancing your eyes with a slight shimmer. I’m tempted to try their other colors as well, especially Starry Night which looks great to use for a night out on the town.
Cost: $8.49

Eucerin Redness Relief Perfecting Lotion SPF 15

Posted on March 10, 2008 at 6:28 PM

Since I have fair sensitive skin, any pimple or irritation to my face shows up as bright red and becomes fairly hard to cover with just concealer. I found what helps is Eucerin’s Redness Relief Perfecting Lotion which helps reduce the redness and in just a few weeks improves your complexion. The green neutralizes the redness and blotchiness of the skin and has SPF 15 which is always important.
Cost: $13.30
