So many celebrities say this sort of thing, that they were always the ugly duckling back in the day. Maybe they think it makes us relate to them more.

all celebrities say that. everyone goes through their "awkward" stages but it doubt they are all the ugly ducklings they claim to have been. except madonna. i REALLY believe that one.

I do not think she is pretty now as well. It is just make up and hair and tan. Ok, ok, that is very mean of me. But honestly she is as pretty as million other girls. I do not know much about her but she seems just average.
