I Met Kelly Ripa

Rykä, the leader in stylish performance athletic footwear and apparel designed exclusively for women, celebrated its business partnership with Kelly Ripa at the Powerhouse at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, N.Y. yesterday and I was invited. I got to meet Kelly and her husband Mark Consuelos. Can we say YUM?

Uh, oh... Vera, I beg of you to not turn into Perez and keep on posting photos of yourself with celebs. Every one you have put up shows a celebrity and then you looking like a stalker. Love you girl, but this is creepy. And the site is moving sooooo slow since you changed it up...

I can't reiterate how NICE the two of them were. Kelly was really cool about the gossip thing and as a joke I told her that we stalk her. She tightened her squeeze on me and said, REALLY!? And Mark was SOOOOOO down to earth. He really was approachable. I tag teamed up with another person there and we swapped cameras. I know it looked like I didn't belong. And quite frankly, odds are I didn't. But I got the invite so I went. The lady that took the pictures for me was a buyer for Model's and Dicks Sporting Goods. She picked up Kelly's line for those stores. That was the type of people that were in the room. But it didn't matter because we hopped back and forth snapping each other's cameras. Then we kissed goodbye like we were friends forever. It was actually very sweet. Regis was supposed to attend too, but I didn't have any money for the meter outside. So I took a big chance and hopped in for a bit without paying. SOMEHOW I managed to NOT get a ticket that day. AMAZING! I was running like a mad woman to the car once I decided to leave. I circled around twice and people probably thought I was nuts because I couldn't BELIEVE I didn't get a ticket! That was probably the best part of the day. :)

VERA! Lordy, you are SO lucky…Mark Conseulos…HELLOOOO! Trust me, not getting a ticket would NOT have been the best part of the day for me. I can’t believe you stood next to him, I’m totally flipping out! What did he smell like? I can’t believe I just typed that. I’m not obsessed really. hehehe I think I need to go lie down. And so great that Kelly reads you site, is that what you meant? Wow. I watch her every day…ok now I really sound like a crazed stalker!!!!
Also I didn't realise how freckly Kelly is? She is really showing signs of sun damage (I'm Australia, and we don't muck around with stuff like that- we have the highest rate of skin cancer in the world here, only because we don't have any ozone layer left!)
I think it's totally awesome that you got the meet Kelly and Mark! You go girl! And the pic of you guys is beautiful!
