Beyonce Will Continue To Stay Quiet About Relationship With Jay Z

Beyonce has always been tight lipped about her relationship with Jay Z. And for some reason, I thought that would end with marriage. According to today's quote, that is just not the case. Beyonce promises to continue to stay quiet about her personal life because she feels it provides protection against scrutiny.
"I don’t deny it (the wedding). I just don’t talk about it. We’ve never talked about us and it’s kind of protected our relationship. I think it’s kept us out of tabloid drama. A lot of actresses that have had successful relationships don’t talk about them, so neither do I."
In some strange way, I guess this is the true first confirmation that she did marry Jay Z right?
She refers to herself as an actress now???? Too funny. Hasn't she only been in one stupid movie. LOL. I changed a lightbulb last night....please call me an electrician from now on...
She's been in three movies. If a porn stars call herself an actress why can't she?
I respect her stance, but I have to admit, I find it strange. Does not talking about your relationship really protect you from anything? Look at Gwyneth and Chris. They never talk, they're rarely seen together, and if anything, it just makes people even more speculative as to the state of their union. Gossip mags and blogs are constantly filled with stories about how they MUST be breaking up because they haven't been seen together in x number of months. So if they made the occasional comment about their marriage or were occasionally photographed together, would that make the gossip any more nasty, silly or damaging? I don't think so. I'm not saying any of these people have to talk about their relationships if they don't want to. But they're so adamant about NOT talking -- and in Gwyneth's case, about not even being seen together -- that it almost brings them MORE publicity. Then again... maybe that's the point.

I like it. I think it's super hot how they only allude to their relationship in songs, too! It's none of our business, and I actually hate it when couples use their coupleness or whatever to promote something. Good for them. I also don't believe those Rihanna rumors, BTW.
It actually depends on the question she was answering! When someone adds parentheses to a quote, it's usually because that part of the person's answer is referring to the question. Did someone SPECIFICALLY ASK if they are married? Or did they just ask about the relationship in general? Her response says nothing about being married otherwise. Just curious! And I kind of agree with Granger. You can "give" a little bit without compromising your privacy or integrity. Look at my favorite celeb family, the Rossdales. They're seen together constantly, and they seem to have a healthy relationship.

I actually love the fact that they don't air their relationship out in the public. Everyone knows they are together and that is enough.
She must be fretting due to the fact that she hurt her male fan base. Most of her record sales came from men. The male fan base may not support her now. Her cd sales will plummet now that she's tied the knot with the man of her dreams!
