Cate Blanchett's Friends Pose With Her Oscar

Haha, nice! Rather than hide her Oscar from 2005 away in some trophy case, Cate Blanchett keeps her Oscar out on top of the grand piano in her living room. She says that her friends always pose with it when they come over.
"I thought about sticking it in the loo. I was going to be very witty and Emma Thompson about it. But I’m actually very proud of it so I ended up putting it on the grand piano because all my friends want to pick it up and pose with it."

I want to pose with an Oscar!! But it would be funny to pose with it in the bathroom!
I'd much rather pose with Cate, preferably in a discriminatory pose.

I would totally do the same if I had a famous friend who won an oscar.
This is an amazing woman. She can wear the most unflattering of dresses and she ends up looking good anyway. I mean they look good on her even if they don't look good. Her face, although not beautiful in a classic sense of that word, is simply gorgeous. I have never seen a person like that, even in my every day life.

thats a very nice thing to do, if i was famous and won an oscar, i would definently do that also.
