Ashlee Simpson And Pete Wentz To Find Out Gender Of Baby

I LOVE talking about this because it always fascinates me to discover who found out and who didn't. Even amongst my friends, as soon as I find out the couple is pregnant, the first thing I ask is whether or not they are going to find out the gender.
Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson have decided that they want to know ahead of time to prepare. And look out Ashlee because Pete is looking for lots and lots of children!
"I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!
I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club."

Not sure Pete is the most masculine dad a boy would want but let's give him a chance. Maybe dad will loose the eye-liner. As far as having a large family. That'll change after he's been changing diapers and getting up in the middle of the night like regular folks do with their kids.

"I want either a band or a football team or a good geometry club." What the hell does that mean? A girl can't be in a band? Football is questionable, sure. But geometry is for boys? What freakin' century is this guy in? My daughter is an aeronautical engineer, with a Master's in management. Guess she had help from some dude to make it through all that and will need it in the future cuz she obviously couldn't run a project on her own nor figure out all those funny little equations what with her thoughts turned towards pink and all that. Pffft. He's usually a non-entity for me anyway but with the baby stuff he's occasionally said things relatively intelligent. Guess it was too much to hope they'd be living in a sentient state of mind. And, ironically, this website uses math to see if your are a thinking person to allow posting...too funny.:-)
He was referring to the fact that he wants to have alot of children.. both a band and a ft. ball team require more than 1 child.
you're kind of an idiot. maybe you could find some guy to help you figure this out: he's taking about numbers, not sexes! he is saying he wants a lot of children. ...and aren't YOU the one who assigned sexes to those activities? pete's words sure don't assign sexes. you're the one who assumed that he was labeling these as boys activities, but your assumption makes no sense. what a moron.

I was curious (and bored), so looked on a celebrity height website. Says Pete is 5'7" and Ash is 5'6". Um, I don't think so, Tim. Every pic I've ever seen them in (and with her wearing flat shoes), she's taller. They don't look an inch over 5'3" to me! Have any of you seen them in person?
Haven't meet Ashlee but I have met Pete, and he is 5'7.

no..way shorter..im 5'2 and when i met him he was barely taller than me..and to the other person who said his eye liner was tattooed on..its not..actually he stopped wearing it a while back.
I didn't think his comment about geometry club was sexist at all. Pete is more than a bit of a geek and obviously not the most masculine guy around. I'm happy for them. The more I hear about Pete, the more I like him. He's honest about who he is, and isn't afraid to be it. That's admirable, especially when who you are doesn't fit into a cookie-cutter of Hollywood.

I think they will be good parents. You dont see them out partying all the time and spending late nights out. They are pretty much always together and lets face it, they have the money to do whatever they darn well please! And they will give this baby a great life. They have **** and personality and thats not something a lot of "hollywood" parents have anymore. Its just hey lets get pregnant and be bland. I defiantly see this kid having a mo hawk if its a boy and thats very cool. My kid will too! hah. I hope the best for the them! The timing was a little "odd" with her new cd coming out, getting married and pregnant all at the same time. But to each his or her own! Just keep the punk make up put up and you are good!
I think they are they going to be great parents, too! :) They don't take themselves so seriously, that's the one thing I love the most about them. They just seem so goofy and normal and honest. A RARITY in Celebville! :)
I read somewhere they are having twins!! but it could just be a rumor...
I had my first baby when I was 24 and am on to baby #2 (I'm 26 now). I found out the sex of my first baby, first I was told a boy that was April 06, then in June and July 06 (I was due 10/06) I was told a girl- 98% sure!!! That was back when you got the 2D ultrasounds. So, on 10/16/06 after being induced, having 18 hours of hard labor and then finally an emergency c-section, I was surprised and elated to meet my little boy! Problem was- I had SO MUCH PINK!!! Now, because of complications with my first pregnancy, I go to see a Maternal Medicine Specialists along side my normal OB. I'll have 4 different advanced scans. 3d and 4 d imaging they use to detect birth defects or complications. They didn't offer this just 2 years ago with my first pregnancy. So this time around, I know without a shadow of a doubt that I'll be having.... another Boy!!!! I just wish Ashlee and Pete an easy pregnancy and that they enjoy this amazing time. xo- Baylee Marie santa monica, ca
Pete is also PETE the third. I wonder if he will continue that trend if it's a boy. I hate that trend honestly and hope they don't. I dont really get naming a kid PETE IV like he is royalty or something. It's kind of sexist too.You never (rarely) see mothers naming babies after themselves and they are the ones who do all the work yet you always see male Jrs. I think it's unfair, but thats just me! For that reason though, I am hoping they have a girl ;)

LOL! WTF?!? that was funny. They probably do, but Pete only wears pants in like public. He explains that on the FOB website and its in his Realease The Bats movie. that question caught me off gaurd and I thought it was funny.
As far as the gettting up like normal folks, who knows. Who knows what type of parents they will be. They could the type to hire people to take care of their children. To the person who spazzed out about the band/team comment. Wow. Stop looking so deep into one small comment. Im sure he meant no insult to your daughter or any other female out there in the world. It was surely meant as wanting many children.

I really like them, I think they are doing really well. My opinion: they will be great parents. They are young and great!
I love them, think they will be really good parents, they are always with each other and, as far as I know, neither of them are addicted to any illegal substances...They are not like most stars. And they are such a cute couple, I really hope it works out. That is so cute that Pete wants enough children to each do a different After-school activity.

I think that the baby is going to be a girl. If any of you guys watched FNMTV last Friday, Snoop Dogg went to the Wentz's house and while in the master bed room, Snoop was showing Pete where to put the crib. If anyone noticed, THE CRIB WAS PINK!!! That is just a hint, but I think that there is a Fall Out Girl on the way.
