my family was seeking refuge once after unrests and killings of Armenians in Azerbaijan (former soviet now islamic republic) back in 1987/88. I remember we left everything that was accumulated by generations of my ancestors, everything even our photos so I do not have any of my childhood/parents/grandparents. It was the scariest time of my life as men armed with huge knives were searching for Armenians and our armenian neighbors with children and us were all hiding in our flat with bottles filled with kerosene . It was horrible and I was just 13 yrs old. I cannot really think about it. I am thankful that USA gave us a new lease on life and we are doing well. Thak you Angelina for supporting this important cause.

Angelina doesn't have to do what she does, but she does it. She is rich, an accomplished actress and so far a great mother. she can easily be another Hollywood selfish person; think only of herself, her money and what movie she's going to do next. I like how she brings attention and gets involved in important issues.

Sure it's great to be concerned about the poor, disadvantaged, refugees and the environment, and we should all be doing what we can to help, but having this woman preach about it irks me. While claiming to represent refugees and the disenfranchised, she lives one of the most materially excessive lifestyles of all celebs. Also while claiming to want privacy for her ever-expanding familiy, she has recently been grabbing every opportunity to speak about her family in the media, even to the point of discussing her sex life! Her hypocrisy is astounding. Appearing in clips like the one above, while drawing attention to the plight of refugees, also draws attention to Ms Jolie. Also throwing a few million their way, and making sure everyone knows about it achieves the same aim. While Ms Jolie may have genuine concern for the world's most disadvantaged, she has certainly not lost sight of making sure she continues to lead her lavish lifestyle and keep the money rolling in. Sorry, but not convinced.
