Brittany Snow Feels A Connection To Hookers

"I learned a lot about where they were from and their mindset and how they went about getting to that profession.

"I don’t agree with it but I think, after talking with these girls, there’s definitely a connection that I have to these girls and what they’re all about. That stigma that people have is really interesting. There’s definitely a notion that the girls come from broken families and they’re all messed up and on drugs and crazy. That was not the case at all for the girls that I talked to, thankfully.

I felt like I was talking to a friend of mine. They were very articulate; they went to high school. Some of them went to college and have kids. Some of them looked exactly like me."

Well yea... There's a good book about this stuff... Can't remember what it's called or who it's by, but I know it was good.

So she doesnt agree with being a hooker but she had a 'connection' with the girls? UM....NO. That makes no sense IMO cuz you really dont connect with people who in your opinion are doing something wrong. And what makes her holier then thou? I mean she will portray a hooker, do a faux sex scene and get paid by her agent aka her pimp. So when you break it down to the brass tacks EVERYONE IS A HOOKER. Some chicks are just smart enough to take the cash and not give it up after dinner at Applebees. This bitch sucks and maybe she should give some thought to what she says before she says it.

I don't think it's true that you cannot connect with someone you feel is doing something wrong because everyone, at one time or another, may feel that someone (mother, brother, husband, best friend, child) is doing something wrong but that does not mean that the 'holier than thou' person is unable to connect with them any longer. To continue this thought, someone is not necessarily 'holier than thou' just because they don't think being a hooker is a progressive life choice.

a woman has a right to choose what she does with her body, her life, her choices. the women i have known who work in the sex industry are smart, informed, wonderful people. sex work should be legalized and made safe. just because it isn't a choice everyone would make doesn't make it a wrong choice.
