*Sigh. I get so depressed just looking at these magazine covers. Anyone else feel like it's an lot of bad news lately?
The Hogan family is being ripped apart. That one really guts me for poor Brooke, who just seems like she has to be the one mature adult in the family.
Guy Ritchie and Madonna's marriage is over. Although, you have to wonder if UsWeekly is kicking themselves for running that one since there has been nothing but denials from Madge's camp and then just last night the happy couple was seen out to dinner.
And then of course, there's a story on Anne Hathaway and how her heart was broken by a con man.
It's times like these that I do feel for celebrities...can't anything in their worlds just be normal!??
Brooke & Lindsay have a lot in common with their crazy, famewhore families. :( I feel bad for both girls.
Oh you feel for them Vera?? PALEASE! you put all this muck on here and personal celebrity photos! you talk smack about some celebs so dont play that!

Did anyone see the video of Nick's friend that was in the car when he crashed? The family released the rehab video...it is........ ****HORRIBLE******!!!! go to google and type in John Graziano and links for the video will come up. let me know what you guys think about the family releasing it and if it changes your fellings about the Hogan family in general.
All I saw was that his forehead/head is caved in. There is nothing there where the front part of his brain should be. I couldn't watch the rest.
Why do you feel sorry for them? Everybody has up and downs. At least they have money to distract them from their troubles and reality.
Actually, I don't think Vera does talk smack about celebrities. It seems like she has 2 or 3 other people posting on the site (if you subscribe to RSS feeds through Bloglines, you can see exactly who is posting the story) and sometimes they can get a tad snarky. I understand the need for Vera to have help in updating and maintaining her site, but it seems silly to have these other people posting "as Vera". We can obviously tell when it's not her....these other writers have fairly distinctive styles and opinions, so it is blatantly obvious when someone other than Vera posts a story. Why not introduce these other writers to us? It would be nice to have writer profiles with a little background information on each of them, and when they make a new post their name should be on it. Not only would this benefit them and their future gossip writing careers (should they choose one) but it also gives us a little credit for being intelligent and having the ability to discern between the voice of a 30-something mom and, say, a 19 year old journalism student. Just a thought!

I have to say I do feel sorry for Brooke. She seems like a sweet girl. Although I don't think doing a story for Life&Style is a good idea.

I totally agree with you. To call them a typical American family is completely asinine.
Poor little Anne's heart was broken by a con man. Weep!! OK, so here's what I feel about these 'princesses' who have their heart broken by bad boys. She had to have had doubts about his shady dealings, she doesn't seem stupid. No, she continued the relationship because he gave her something she craved. Excitement, passion, uncertainty, etc. When he became a liability, she cast him away, typical Scorpio woman. Don't cry for her.

It's not possible for celeb's to live "normal". Comes with the territory. They will always be in the spotlight.
Saying the Hogan family is "being ripped apart" makes it sounds like outside forces are guilty for the deed. A more accurate description might be the Hogan family is imploding or the the Hogan family is destroying itself or the selfish and indulgent parents have hurt their children...but they have not really been ripped apart. They are doing the ripping. Now the family of the guy that was in the car that Nick wrecked...that would be a good example of a family being ripped apart. And I would not shed too many tears for Brooke...her new reality show starts in a few weeks. It almost seems as if she's taking advantage of her family's woes and being in the headlines by starring in her own show. I understand this is the kind and gentle celebrity blog and that's why I enjoy it, but the Hogan comments almost seem disingenuous. Everyone's entitled to their opinion, though! Especially on their own blog. Understood.
