Update On Angelina Jolie

Yesterday I reported that Angelina Jolie had checked in at a French hospital where she would remain until giving birth to her twins. Today there are a few more details coming up, but still no confirmation as to whether the babies have been born or not. Fortunately we should get more news this afternoon because her obstetrician has called a press conference.
In other news, here are a few tidbits about Angelina's stay at the hospital.
Jolie has the best room in the hospital, on the fifth floor, with an "unobstructed view" over the Bay of Angels. It said she arrived by helicopter, landing Sunday afternoon on the hospital's roof....The actress reserved four rooms on the maternity ward, with a bodyguard keeping watch.
Wow, arriving in helicopter, looking out over a beautiful bay, bodyguard protection...sounds just like my birthing experience...NOT. :)
*Update: Nothing exciting happened in the press conference. Doc just said that things are normal and Angelina is in the hospital as a precaution.
*Update #2: The twins are still weeks away. Makes sense since we did originally here her due date was in August.

Please, please, please slow down and take the time to read what you've written, Vera. Just because this is a celebrity blog doesn't mean all rules governing the written word should be tossed out the window. That said, I do love your positivity. :-)
Give me a BREAK. Vera makes about one-MILLIONth the amount of grammatical errors that, say, Perez Hilton makes. I'm an English major and I'm planning on becoming an English teacher. I'm more anal than most people about the written word, and I think Vera's a great writer. So suck it.
So, I wonder what the point of it was. Did he hand out autographed pictures of himself or something. Does the doc just want a piece of the limelight, cause this info was something we already knew from the hospital spokesman.
I think the press was hounding them so much, they decided to go ahead and let everyone know at the same time..

In the People article about it, the doctor said that Angie and Brad wanted everyone to know that everything is fine. "She is very well, and she's okay. ... Brad and Angelina want everyone to know that everything is going well."

That would be GRAMMAR, a lower-caps HOW in both cases, and I believe the common vernacular is "effing," and not "fing." And don't even get me started on the syntax of your sentence. Sorry, but if you're gonna play grammar police, I'm gonna nab you, too.

So much for people who want privacy. Everybody knew she was in the hospital. Stop blaming the press and people. Nobody asked them to give a press conference.
I think that the reason they held a freaking press conference isn't out of egotism; it's because there are MANY people on this planet who are interested in this couple -- journalists and non-journalists alike, and they'd probably just like to address the "issues" all at once so they can get this birth over and done with. You people are idiots. I'm convinced that a few of you seriously have second grade educations. My six year-old brother is more articulate than many of you.

You should really pay more attention to something that matters. I'm not pacing, either, but I can acknowledge their reasons for wanting to quell the recent buzz of curiosity. They want privacy -- just like you, and just like me. And it's not their fault they happen to be famous. They're dealing with a biological life process that's absoLUTEly none of our business, and it's sad that they have to worry about that experience being marred by the press.
Then why are you feeding the frenzy by getting on this site? If it bothers you so much, why are you peering into their lives like everyone else? A bit hypocritical, no?
*shrugs* I sort of don't care. I like celebrity gossip, and I like Vera's website. The end. And I happen to think that Brad and Angelina are two talented, highly-attractive people with a gorgeous family and an undeniably enviable life. Whatever. I'm more interested, though, in my cats, or what sort of car trouble I might have, or what I'm going to have for dinner tonight. I just find all the shrieking about how "evil" and "selfish" she is to be a little overblown.
