Nelly Furtado Is Back To BLACK!

I can now officially say that I HATED the blonde on Nelly Furtado because the singer has finally gone back to dark. Her eyes POP when she has black hair and everything else about her becomes so exotic. While blonde, she just seemed so washed out. Thankfully, we don't have to worry about that anymore because here she is during a sold out show at the Westpark in Amsterdam.

Some people are not meant to be blonde.... Nelly is definitely one of them. She looks SO much better. Also, I think that colour on her lips looks really nice on her.

Back to black and lost some weight, about time. She became so little for her last album and videos, it was unnatural for her but then as is always the case, her body rebelled and she put on even more weight. Anyway, did you know that at a press conference in Europe a woman had the gall to say that she had put on weight. Those girls are so weight obsessed
I like the Nelly Furtado that first hit the music scene, before she met all the rappers and then became hip-hop. Now she sucks in my book.
Nelly said that was never her true style. It was manufactured by her music company. She is being herself now.
Her current career path seems more manufactured and contrived now then it ever has (so I find that statement interesting?...) I think it's more of an excuse from her after getting all the backlash when she switched.

Good, now maybe she will go back to making good music. Her last album was tragic but what do you expect after Folklore was panned by audiences but hailed by critics. She had to 'sell out' (even though I use that term loosely with her since she has been working with Tim and Missy since 2000) in order to keep her career going. I hope she comes back to her funky. original roots. And European women are not obsessed with weight, they just do not think that 5'4 160 is normal like Americans do, cuz its not.
