Katie "Jordan" Price And Peter Andre Are Adopting

Katie "Jordan" Price was so incredibly moved after watching a documentary about children in Bulgaria that she convinced hubby Peter Andre they should adopt a baby.
“We want to be able to help a child to have a better life.
The programme moved me to tears. So many babies who are born with disabilities find it hard to find adoptive parents – no one wants them.
So Pete and I have been to see a lawyer about adopting a baby from abroad.”
The process could take as long as 18 months, but the couple is willing to wait.
A friend says, “She’s not an emotional person, but was traumatised by what she saw. It made her determined.”
They may take a lot of crap for their media image, but this couple truly does seem like they're caring parents. I love seeing celebrities use their good fortune to help others, especially children.

i REALLY don't like children, but what about all of the kids and teens in america that need adopting. i know they are british, but someone like angelina. there are plenty of older kids here that would love to feel like they belong.
I wonder the same thing.
I know there are plenty of children in our corner of the world to adopt, but we all live on THIS planet and kids are kids. They all need a home. It dosn'tmatter where they come from. I think Jordan is sincere too - I like her. but her husband is a bit of a poser.
PS - i REALLY don't like kids either. So the humane society is a good choice for adoption too!!!
People that say they like animals more than kids are the reason there are so many kids in the world that need homes. Kids are human, they have feelings, animals are animals. You can love animals AND kids...geez you people are idiots.
^^^^ If you think animals dont have feelings then you best get your head checked. There should be a prerequisite in order to reproduce. Seriously. Having kids is a privilege not a right, I am so sick of uneducated trash infesting the world with their spawn then not taking care of them. If people really want to do the world a favor they would just stop having kids. The US is in a HUGE population crisis right now, people need to stop coming to this country and breeding like its going out of style. I cant stand kids, they are so overrated and what I hate even more is how women feel they are 'validated' once they have a kid. (They are the same with marriage, get over it) On another note, Katie and Peter are sweet sweet people who are all about helping children and doing the right thing for their family. Good for them.

Yaaay Melissa! Totally agaree. Kids are so yesterday. :) kidding (kinda). People that beleive our soul purpose in life is to produce life are not very evolved. I think having children is such a huge responsiblity and I do respect the people that do it well - it is very selfless. I can't handle my two crazy naughty cats - I would be hopeless with a child.
animals are animals? you are kidding right. animals are neglected, abused, starved, breed against their will, fought against their will, chained, etc. they are also euthanized for no good reason. if a kid needs a place to go, they will have people working to find them a place, animals all to often just get killed. i regret my above comment. lets eunthanize the children, im sure people will start to feel differently about how animals are treated. and animals do have feelings. PS. how can it be the fault of people who dont like kids that there are so many in need. are we the ones getting knocked up and then abandoning them. no, we arent.
It seems like such a publicity choice, jumping on the bandwagon a la Madonna and Angelina. Will this kid also be featured on the front of OK! magazine in posed photoshoots with this gruesome twosome and their flock?
I am so sick of trashy people having kids and not taking care of them, then those kids grow up to be just like their prized parents and are can yo guess??? TRASH! repeat cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I see one too many trashy woman popping out kids, drinking and smoking while they are pregnant, smoking around babies...wtf???? why do you reproduce?? why not give your child up for adoption so that someone who actually wants kids that cannot concieve or carry babies has the chance to raise them?? why are people so freakin selfish???? i am disgusted by the displays of people who are trash who cannot take care of their own flesh and blood!
They are planning on adopting a child with disabilities, who have a very hard time getting adopted. Because they have experience with Harvey's disabilities, I think it is wonderful!!
Exactly. I think it's a wonderful idea for Katie and Peter to adopt a disabled child. At least they will know what they're doing. I think it will be good for both the child and Katie and Peter. I'm all for it.

Bulgaria?! Is she out of her mind! Baby needs to be adopted from Africa or Asia to be deserving of Hollywood's ''ohh and ahhh''. Bulgaria is not exotic enough.

haha we say that jokingly all the time ( should be a rule who can have kids ). Then a friend came by the other day and he said the same thing. We laughed when we realized the thought would never work because this friend and his gf would be top of our list not to procreate and they have 2 boys.
I read her book Angel on the weekend. I have to say I was impressed. It was a total beach book but it was a nice read. Did she start off as a writer or is this because of all the other "fame" she has. Im glad I gave her novel a chance.
