Eva Longoria's Weight Gain Is For Desperate Housewives Role?

Eva Longoria's charachter on Desperate Housewives has let herself go. That explains the weight gain and shorter do says Eva's rep.
“She’s making herself look like that as her character has let herself go. Gabrielle has gained weight and cut her hair.She’s a worn out mother with two kids.”
Off set, Eva is putting on the pounds for the role but it's not enough. While filming the actress is wearing padding to make her look heavier.
“And even that was not enough. She’s also wearing butt pads and a stomach pad to play the part.”
Is this the best pregnancy rumor cover up EVER? Or is Eva really do this for Gabby?

Ohhhh. Wow. What a true THESPIAN. Gaining some desperately (ha ha)-needed weight and a dowdy haircut for her ROLE. This chick gets more and more odious every single time I hear anything about her.

Geez people! Take it easy - so she's skinny - get over it - the question posed by Vera was "Is this the best pregnancy rumor cover up EVER? Or is Eva really do this for Gabby?" I think she's doing it for Gabby. If you watch D.H. you would have seen the season finale where it jumped forward five years, and Gabby had short hair, was chubbier and had 2 kids.
Great, another cliche: you're in the subarbs, have a mom haircut, are fat and have 2 kids.
Her, Uma and kate Moss are all getting some serious bloaty bellies. I think they are all pg, well maybe not Kate, hers is probably a coke belly. Since they are going to make Gabby older and chunkier, Eva probably thought it was a good time to get pg since it could be hidden easier.
I agree with Kate, that is what they shown us at the season finale... it does not mean I agree with the purpose of showing that mothers dont care about themselves anymore, since its not true. This is for Gabby... she's not pg :)
I don't believe that story about the role...if that were true a wig and some sort of costuming for weight gain would be appropriate. And from what I understand, that whole look in the future episode is just one episode, so she's gaining 10 lbs for just 1 episode? That doesn't make sense!

So last week I saw a picture of Eva in a swimsuit on vacation and thought, "wow, she looks like a real woman - slender but a little curvy." I thought "awesome! I kinda look like that!" and was feeling really good about myself UNTIL this headline: "Eva Longoria's weight gain - explained!" Seriously? She's gaining weight to look like a "woman let go"?? Going from a size 2 to a 4 is LETTING GO? Ugh. I thought I looked hot. Sad.
I just wish that I was that skinny... weight gain?? I'd be happy to look like that after a weight gain haha

For the moment I think( not sure actually) nobody knows, except the actors, how many episodes there will be relating the DH stories 5 years later. Maybe it'll be the whole season! And it would not be the first time an actress has to gain weight for a role... Btw she does not even look like she has put on weight!
Where is that weight she gained? On her little toe? She looks pretty normal, if not healthier-ISH now, sort of.

I noticed towards the end of last season that her clothes fit a little differently and I was surprised. Not that it's bad of course, now she's looking a little more "normal" and she still looks fantastically beautiful! Tabitha
It's for a role. She's supposed to be a pudgy wife with kids. Pudgy to Eva/Gabrielle is normal to the rest of the world.

She looked so much better with long hair. And if the DH part is true, I liked Gabby better last season lol.
Why gain weight if you're gonna wear padding anyway? She gained like, MAX ten pounds, IF that....probably because she's married, and happy and chill....but she's obviously feeling bad about people talking badly about her so she had a statement released....DUH, that's what I would do!!! lol
