Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Asking Bono To Be Twins' Godfather

Well, they have that humanitarian connection, so I might actually believe this. It is rumored that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to have Bono step in as the godfather for their twins. According to The Mirror,
"Brad and Angie think the world of Bono. They have been friends for years. Brad is a massive U2 fan and told Bono how much he admired him when they were introduced at a party a few years back.
"Since then, they’ve become very close, which Brad is thrilled about. Angelina is inspired by Bono’s humanitarian work and gets on with his wife Ali Hewson."
If this is true, then Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline will have the coolest godfather ever! How fun would that be?

One would have to be Catholic to require a Godparent, wouldn't they? I do not believe Angelina or Brad are Catholic. Translate: This is a load of crap.
God for them, Bono is a very down to earth good hearted dude,, great match.. not at all surprised Brad and Ang are friends with such a wonderful person
All these Bonos,Pitts, Jolies are just chasing publicity. In reality none of them can change a thing. When you are so into ending poverty and suffering you are typically not concerned with living in castles and putting on designer clothes. You do Mother Theresa's work. You go in, get dirty (not for the cameras) and start making changes. All these people are just full of hot air. What they do is very EASY when you have millions/billions. They are simply better than Paris Hilton's of this world but they are nowhere near where they mouth is. And we know that Paris is despicable, nercissistic waste of human breath. So comparing people to her is like using lowest common denominator.
I wonder how long it took them and their publicists to come up with Bono? Why not Bob Geldorf too, or are his parenting skills a little suspect at the moment? The above poster, passerby Jul 28 @ 5:49 PM is correct in saying that the "band aid" approach to solving poverty does nothing. Poverty in developing nations in often caused by internal civil strife, and/or puppet governments being supported by the West (usually the US) in order to serve their own political and economic interests. Throwing a few millions at some of the people in these poor countries will ease the pain for a few, but the underlying reasons for their poverty will still remain. This is why so many people are sceptical of extremely wealthy people in the entertainment industry, whose livelihoods depend on publicity, getting involved in these causes. Why don't they use their "celeb status" to criticize their governments' foreign affairs policies, or expose multinational corporations which rip off third world nations while their governments turn a blind eye? The answer is all too obvious. They risk being "disowned". Throwing a few millions (fully tax deductible) around and making sure the media is in full throttle reporting on it is a much safer career move. You look like you care, can continue to live your own luxurious lifestyle, and don't have to risk getting your hands or your reputation dirty.

Jennifer Aniston by now would be forgotten if she was not married to Brad Pitt. Just look at the former Friends female stars i can't even recall their names. If she was not married to Brad Pitt she'll just be enjoying her millions in obscurity.

Who the hell is Jennifer Aniston? What was the last hit movie she was in? Brad is hot, always has been and always will be. And Angelina is pretty cute as well. They're kids are gorgeous and they're ridiculously rich... stop hating, it's not going to change your lot in life, so why bother?
