Jamie Lynn Spears Getting Married!
Ahh, young love. Jamie Lynn Spears and her fiance, Casey Aldridge are ready to walk down the aisle. Ok is reporting that she's already started planning the wedding and that the two will say "I do," before the end of the year. Jamie Lynn is planning for the event to be held in her own backyard!
"She loves everything about the area where she lives. She's not going to get married at some luxury resort in the Caribbean or a hotel in Beverly Hills," a friend of the bride-to-be tells OK!. "Her own backyard with just the people who matter most is more Jamie Lynn's style."
She's ready to look her best on the big day.
"She's already down to her pre-pregnancy weight," says the friend. "She has the cutest figure!"
And of course, Britney Spears will be her maid of honor.
What do you think? Is Jamie Lynn too young to get married or is she doing the right thing in marrying her baby's daddy?

I think Brittney is looking better and better everyday. I can't help but wish the best for her and her little sister. I do think that Jaime Lynn is too young to even be thinking about getting married, but I can understand wanting to build a family. Sure they could do it with out getting married, but I bet it's been her dream to wear a white gown! Who can blame her? I wish them the best and hope everything works out for them!

Apparently so - again. Jamie Lynn Spears and Casey Aldridge's romance and domestic life isn't all it's being cracked up to be... According to reports from the National Enquirer, Jamie Lynn gave Casey the boot because she discovered phone calls to another woman on his cell phone bill. And she's been tracking his internet history to see what her 19-year-old baby daddy is up to. A source said, "Casey told Jamie Lynn that she is 'hormonal' and that all the rumors of his cheating are just her imagination, but Jamie Lynn didn't believe him. It was too much for Jamie Lynn and she threw him out of the house. He stayed out all night." Ah, the joys of teen love. Jamie Lynn also believes that Casey "might be cheating with his old girlfriend." Casey has apparently since been let back into their Mississippi home. Hopefully these two can weather the storm and try to make it work for the sake of their infant daughter, Maddie Briann. this true because there two pictrue of it
They are WAY too young to marry. Marriage is not the wedding or the reception, marriage is a huge committment and responsibility that only a pair of MATURE adults should enter. Just because they have a child does not mean that marriage is the next step. Not to mention that, statistically, young marriages have an incredibly high failure rate. They should both wait until they are at least 25 to marry. By then, the couple will have long gone their separate ways.

Having a baby shouldn't be the reason you get married. Would they be getting married if she didn't have this baby? No way!
Oh well, I was 20 when I got married and have been married for over 30 years to the same guy. Some days I can't stand his a$$(like today for instance). But I still love him and just because he is driving me crazy today and maybe still will be tomorrow, it is not going to cause me to seek out a divorce lawyer. So I guess if they don't have any delusions about what married life will be, then go for it. Because it usually isn't smoothe sailing all the time. You just have to weather the storm. I would never put up with cheating or abuse, but other than that I can overlook or forgive most things. Just because you are older when you marry doesn't guarrantee your marriage won't end in divorce. She already has the kid and he is living with her so what the heck.

I don't understand why people say she's too young to get married. She's too young to have a baby in my opinion but she had one. Once you have a child together there is no stronger bond. Will she end of divorced? Most likely. So what? 99% of Hollywood ends up divorced and 50% or regular people get divorced. Does that mean they shouldn't get married? Then no one should get married. At least they are trying hard to form a strong family unit. If they end up divorced the child will be no worse off then most other kids in North America.
I was a young mom, still older than her and I can tell you there is no way she's ready. She's a kid. Not even a very mature kid. Yes, she has a baby, no that doesnt make her grown up, mature or ready to get married. This poor girl has her head in the clouds, like most girls her age. It's all about the pretty wedding, the beautiful dress, the fairy tale ending. At 17, she is not nearly done growing up or figuring out who she is and what she wants. Yes, there are plenty of marriages that began at her age and have lasted 20-30 years. But that was then and this is now. I dont think kids that age now have the same maturity or moral system in place that kids did then. It was a different time. JL's generation is the "Gimme" generation. They dont have a clue about hard work or commitments, nor have most of them seen a mature committed married relationship. IMO, bad idea!
17 years old, a mother and now she's getting married? Where, oh WHERE are the parents?????????? The sad part of all of this is that the media and blogs just like this are putting it out there for the world to see. This immoral CHILD is being glorified for having under-aged sex and getting married at 17! Sad, really sad.
Is she "immoral" just because she had underaged sex and had a baby? shut up.

Actually I feel sorry for her. I was a mother AND left home at the age of 16, so I have a strong idea about what she's dealing with (except her family is rich, which makes me wonder why the hell will she marry the guy). I don't think she sould get married (living together is hard enough), but I wish her luck anyway. I hope she makes it through.
