Denise Richards' Reality Show Getting The Axe

Trouble in reality paradise? I guess people aren't very interested in Denise Richards' life because the rumor is the show is getting cancelled. Is Pammy next? One of the main turns off is Denise's potty mouth.

"The numbers started out pretty good - just over 1.5 million tuned into the premiere episode. But the audience has dropped off. Denise has turned into an unappealing reality star. Viewers were disgusted that a mother of two young girls would use such foul language."

Do you watch the show? Did you start out watching and then never looked back? Or is it still a favorite? Wouldn't it be great if more reality shows came to an end and they brought back... the sitcom? Or perhaps... a new good drama? OH how a girl can dream.

Another peroxide blonde with dogs who make poo poo all over rugs for the hangers-on to clean up, with a life revolving around makeup, shoes, and spray tans. I really don't care, it is a carbon of others, except add kids, and a shallow life, pawning them off, and swearing like trailer trash. A waste of my time. Once, and I got it.

Actually I like the show. I, like many other people started out watching it thinking she was a bitch and a bad person. Well the show changed my mind. All the BS talked about her were lies, she is a good person with a good heart. She loves her kids and she' s been through a rough time. That being said she does have a potty mouth and she is also a little full of herself. I think many of her problems would be solved if she stepped out of her own little world and started putting her mind to doing some good for other peope. Good luck to her.

It is not because of her language.. it's because the woman is INSANE! I've caught a few episodes of the show and she is just completely insane. It's funny though, which is what is sad about it.

I haven't seen it. I just am not a reality TV person. I planned to check it out but then quickly fogot to. LOL Same goes with any reality show, though. They aren't true "reality", they are scripted, so it doesn't interest me in the least. The very first season or 2 of The Real World is all I ever watched of reality TV.

No, I never watched it, and am glad to hear it's being cancelled. I don't think she deserves any more attention. I feel so sorry for her kids. (Having two messed-up parents).

I'm sorry, but I loved this show. I thought she was so down to earth and just funny. I feel like if she was acting weird, hamming it up, or not being true to her self her dad (WHO IS ON THE SHOW) would have some type of reaction to her behavior. I think she's just trying to be a good mom! I thought the episodes were funny and I loved catching it every week. I'll miss it. DENISE IF YOU READ THIS! I'LL MISS YOU HAHAHAH (not to sound like a creep)

I watched this show and now I wish I hadn't. She's foul mouthed, irritating and I didn't find her to be down to earth at all. Good riddance, Denise and your stupid tv show.

I started watching the show because of all the publicity it was getting...(I am a regular watcher of E! and love the Girls Next Door). It started out really well and explained about her family, parents and the death of her mom. When it lost me was, I don't care about her wanting to mate her pigs or saying and thinking that she is so fat and blah blah blah. I mean come on. I think if she has another season, I might watch the first episode and i'll go from there.

I wanted to like her. I felt sorry for her. When she and Charlie were still married he would come over and hump one of our neighbors. I was ready to embrace the show. Denise is incredibly unnappealling. she is kindof crazy

I actually kind of liked it too - moreso in the beginning for some reason. I adored her dad and really felt like she was a good mom, and probably more grounded than 1/2 of hollywood. she did have a potty mouth - but c'mon, most of the stars in hollywood have someone else raising their kids. she's doing it alone with help from her darling dad...cut her some slack.

It's a good show. Good as in better than watching a 60 yr old on Living Lohan.

Oh goodness. Cursing. Foul language. Swear words. How will her girls survive?? I rather have a mother like her that is fun and down to earth and exciting to be around and who, unlike most women, actually has a sense of humor. All these SUV driving soccer moms who gasp at her swearing are more of an annoyance and threat to society than a few &^^$ and ***&% here and there.

I really liked her show. Loved her Dad, her sister, her BIL. Liked how much she loves dogs and all creatures. I saw nothing "insane". I thought she was sweet and real and I could tell when the producer wanted her to put in a scene that was stupid (like the beach stuff). It **** me off that she was hammered on all the talk shows. All this talk about her kids being in "peril" is nuts. Girl is trying to make a living. Kudos. I thought it was entertaining. I'll miss you Denise! Rock on...be happy.

I don't equate swearing and foul language with 'down to earth' and 'fun-loving'. Crazy as it souds, I think you can have a sense of humor without cursing. OK, the occasional bad word gets past all of us, but when it's the foundation of your vocabulary, it isn't amusing or entertaining. Basically what it says is that you are uneducated, witless and inconsiderate of everyone around you. (so, my kid plays soccer buy I don't drive an SUV...am I only HALF a threat to society? A moderate threat? A moderate threat that can't run someone over nearly as effectively?)

Look I'll be the first one to admit that I had no interest in Denise Richards. I was just like the rest you and thought she was a horrible person, bad mom, etc. But the show actually let me see her in a different light. I saw her as an actual person and not just some tabloid rumor. I saw that she was a caring mother and daughter and has a funny sense a humor. As far as her having a potty mouth..who doesn't curse or have a friend that curses all the time. It's not offensive in any way and it says nothing about your "education". There is a difference between having an adult conversation and swearing with your friends and cursing like a sailor infront of your kids. As far as I can remember she didn't say anything offensive infront of her kids and that's what matters. I enjoyed the show and will be sorry to see it go.

I had a similar reaction. I watched part of some of the episodes on youtube because I was just curious about her. My only previous opinion of her--based on starship troopers and james bond--was that she can't act and that she must be a vacuous bimbo in real life. I was expecting her to be as bland and stupid as those two characters I'd seen her in in the movies. Anyway, she surprised me. Not that I found her wildly intelligent or deep or something--or even someone I would ever consider being friends with--but she is by no means bland. So that was a nice surprise. So at least the show made me realize that it was stupid of ME to think I knew anything about her in real life based on two films.

Exactly. I love how people equate swearing with how intelligent somebody is. "Mary-beth, we just cannot hang around with her. She said *&^ and *&%$ and by the way, my kids last played outside in 1997." Parents have kids who don't know what their backyards look like, text 24/7, have their own cell phones at 7, etc, etc, etc, but swearing is the evil that is going to bring down the nation. They are mere words. Sure, you should avoid saying them (to a point) in front of "innocent" little ears (they may bleed afterall) but there are thousands and thousands things worse that parents willingly expose their little nuggets to on a daily basis that are a lot worse than say the phrase, "Hey there little mother-f*cker, you are such a cute two-year old! No go and get my f*ckin' keys." I used that phrase just the other day at the mall. Mothers love me.

Unlike most of you who watched the first episode thinking the worst but were pleasantly surprised, I had the opposite reaction. I watched the first episode with a neutral mind. But I absolutely hated it. I thought she was completely shallow, so full of herself and was more concerned about spray tanning and how many bad boys she's f*cked. It was a complete waste of time watching that show. I'm glad it's getting cancelled.

I'm with Riviera on this. I watched it out of curiosity but quickly turned it off because I couldn't watch another minute of this self-centred, shallow woman. I don't mind swearing, as long as you don't do it in front of your young kids. (who only a few years later probably know a lot more swear words than you! ;-) )

Hmmm, Im on the fence on this one. One half of me feels sorry for her and the other half of me thinks she deserves it! She is definitely a diva... although she is a good mom... you can just tell in her girl's faces. Her diva attitude is probably what turned people off... but still, I cant imagine being in her shoes.

wow. i'm shocked at the amount of people saying that they'll miss this garbage. she can't act, she's a terrible mother, and did anyone else read that blind item about the hooker turned b-list actress... yeah. i actually think those kids would be better off with charlie and his new wife then to be with this trainwreck. her show was awful, and as much as she tried to come off "cute" and "ditxy" it didn't work. she's a good portion of what's wrong with the world- and i'm not referring to the swearing. who the @#*$ cares about that?? she's just a pig. a classless, "white trash"- as she calls herself, pig.
