it is about him, his name is carved in a tree with hers on the video, she wrotes about it on her blog and also says he is cool with the song as well
I dunno, but she did say that Carey was okay with it in that letter to her fans that you posted yesterday, I think.
Wow, I'm really surprised that he is okay with all of this...especially after reading that he was still in love with her. I also feel bad for him.

They're probably personal but I thought things between the two are good...
Have you listened to some of the lyrics of her other songs? She's cutting down a tree w/ their names in a heart in the video... so I'd say yes, it's about him! I wonder how he feels about her putting it all out there like that?

I thought that was Sharon Gless from Burn Notice. That's what happens when things get retro - the hippest people blend in with the people (or characters) who never let go of the trends the first time around. That being said, I like both Pink and love Sharon Gless, just not as twins.

she's an artist...she needs to vent! i think it's about him. AND i think mariah carey's song 'side effects' is about tommy motola. i wish i could sing. but i still love my husband so it wouldn't be all that dramatic anyway.

She's a lyrical genious! I mean, GENIOUS!
Every other report has said that she and Carey are still very close. I doubt the lyrics have anything to do with him.

if those 2 r really the best friends the media makes them out to be, then hopefully it's not...
I finally listened to the song. I love it. Cant stop playing it as a matter of fact. Will be getting her cd when it comes out. I LOVE Pink and I cant wait to try and see her in concert the next time she comes to town.

The lyrics are all about Carey I hope that she's embraces more R'nB/Hip-Hop on this album cause I miss seeing Pink dancing and just having fun on stage and showing she a multi-talented clutter of a person. But I LOVE "So What" and will definitely be buying this album when it comes out!
It may or not be about him but hes in the video with her and if he was dead against it or hurt by it would he be in the video with her.... They are still friends for sure...
