Lost Stars Want More Money

Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are looking for more money. Rumor has it the Lost stars bank an estimated $80,000 -$90,000 a show. However, they are hoping show execs will increase their wages up to $150,000 an episode and aren't budging until they do.
What do you think? Is it the right move? Will the execs give it to them? Are Fox and Lilly replaceable?

He makes WHAT? That is insane. In comparison I think the stars of LOST deserve more. A LOT more. In real world terms though: Not so much.
Yeah but the cast of LOST is huge compared to 2 main characters on Charlie's show. That's why he banks so much more.
AHHHHHH!!! I hope those execs give in!!! LOST makes SO much money, they can afford to pay their top 2 actors this money, they deserve it. They are absolutely irreplaceable! I would stop watching on the spot if either of these 2 left the show, and I'm one of the biggest LOST junkies there is! It's bad enough the show is dragging on for another 2 years, and cutting into their ability to be able to do other work, so GIVE IT TO THEM!!!!!!!

I love the show,but i don't think that they really need that money. Personally both of their characters have been annoying me since season 2, and i think that terryQ,Michael Emerson, Josh holloway deserve an increased pay,should Foxy and Evie get them too.
Personally. I think the show is crap and it always has been. They constantly get away with crappy writing and actors with a once in a while crazy curve in the plat that makes you forget you got nothing out of the past 5 episodes. Horrible. Pay them less. (I think I'm in a bad mood today)

Although I do have some minor issues with their characters, Kate and Jack really can't be replaced and I don't think Lost could go on without them.
This show lost me a long time ago : )
Too bad that show went WAY down hill during season 2. Very short shelf life for a show that started out so strong.

I agree with you 100%. I loved this show the first season. During the second season I just quit watching.
Lost is a good programme but thats a lot of money for just an hour of an episode! But i still want them to get it so the programme carries on. I really really need to know what happns at the end cant watch all that without knowing the ending!!
That's a lot of money.

I say give it to them! If we lose Matthew and Evangeline, the show won't last and I won't watch it. Besides, there's only a few more years left on it anyway. ABC is loaded. Just do it. It'll be the best investment that they've ever made. As far as Matthew goes, I believe he's still married, but then again, I've seen him hanging around with other women, so maybe they have an open marriage. This is hollywood. Stranger things have been known to happen!
Considering it's viewership numbers are dropping, that is probably not a good move, but they might come up with a compromise. They are the shows stars, pretty much, so I don't think they can be replaced.

80 thou does seem a bit ridiculous for such a huge show's leads...
There's no way they can lose Matthew Fox, but get rid of dumb-dumb Evangeline Lily. That woman is almost as bad as Heigl with the ****g and moaning about stupid ****. "It's so hard to be the most beautiful woman in the world!", "I was glad to get out of Hawaii, where I had everything paid for and lived the life that most people could only dream of!". WAAH WAAH WAAH. STFU you stupid bucked toothed pain in the ass and do your stupid job. The writers of the show got rid of the other trouble-makers on the show, she deserves nothing less than das boot
I think they should give it to them. they are ABSOLUTELY not replaceable....and that show is SUPER successful. They can afford to fork it over! Especially since we all know it's only gonna be around another 2 years or so.....
Give it to them! They deserve it!

This is stupid. If George Eads and Jorja fox of CSI couldn't get more money, why the hell do these two think (and feel) they deserve more? Lost has been tanking in the lineup for the last two years. Until the show improves, I so no one deserves more money.

THIS SHOW IS ****ING STUPID, DON'T PAY THEM **** AND YOU LOSERS STOP WATCHING THIS CRAP AND GET A LIFE!!
They deserve it! $150,000 may seem like alot to us regular people but in the TV world its peanuts compared to the actors on other shows who get paid double and even triple the amount the Lost cast does even though working on Lost is more gruelling than being on desperate housewives for example.
I find their characters SO BORING. Go, Sawyer!

It wasn't great during the second season - a lot of shows flounder a little their second year - but it has kicked it hard core these last 2 years. I think Jack is very important to the show but Kate could die or leave and I would be a-okay with that. Evie isn't that great of an actress that she should be paid more than what she gets. And I agree that if they get pay raises, the other cast members should as well. It's an ensemble and those that have worked on the show since the beginning should get an increase as well. It will only cause melodrama and discontent amongst the cast if two of the actors get raises over the others who have been working just as hard and are as integral to the story as they are.
Finally a reason to kick them out. So yeah, replacement! Who still watches that show anyway? Because, well, you know, it sucks!
