Roseanne Barr Is Not An Angelina Jolie Fan
Roseanne Barr has taken to her blog again and this time she's doing a little Angelina Jolie bashing.
jon voight your evil spawn angelina jolie and her vacuous hubby brad pitt make about forty million dollars a year in violent psychopathic movies and give away three of it to starving children trying to look as if they give a crap about humanity as they spit out more dunces that will consume more than their fair share and wreck the earth even more. (just sayin').
And then she gets political. Roseanne is angry Angelina hasn't endorsed Obama for president.
Also miss jolie says she likes mccain too and hasn't decided who to endorse....huh? Aren't you supposed to be somewhat enlightened, or do you not know that the african daughter you hold in every picture had parents who suffered and died because of the republican party's worldwide economic assault on africa over the last few decades since reagan? whaaaa...??????!!!! (for that matter, the thai and vietnamese sons you are photo'd with weekly too!!!? who's pictures you sell to raise money to help the poor? Their families are victims of America's right wing military incursions too(...) it might be good for your Asian and African children's self-esteem to know you support Barack Obama, a man of color for the leader of the free world.
WOW. Those are fighting words. Why so angry at the world Roseanne? Really, it's fine if you don't agree with someone's political standings, but to take them to task publicly in such an over the top manner is a little crazy if you ask me. Besides, what has Angelina Jolie ever done to Roseanne?

I think that's a little uncalled for. She seems to be angry at Jon Voight (hence the title of her post) so I don't understand why she's taking it out on Angelina. Fankly it isn't any of anyone's business who Angelina (or anyone else) decides to support or vote for. And the suggestions about her kids are ridiculous. Insinuating that just because you have a child of a certain race (or are a certain race) that you should vote for someone because of it -- that's dumb. Roseanne nees to go back to the trailer park.

Actually Angelina made it everyone's business by her public proclamation of who she was considering voting for. I think Roseanne has the right to comment on it as much as we have commenting on Roseanne. OK she went over the score, but at least she has an interest in politics and actually cares.
From my understanding, Angelina's "public proclaimation" came in the form of a magazine interview -- meaning that she was asked directly who she was supporting; Angelina doesn't seem physically capable of not answering a question. It doesn't seem (though I could be wrong) that she intentionally put out a statement saying that she has yet to decide who she's voting for. And, for that matter, if Roseanne actually cared she would be getting off her butt and doing something, rather than ranting about someone who is busy attempting to save the world. I'm not the biggest Angelina fan in the world, but there is no denying that she at least trys. So whatever, I still think Roseanne had no right to say the majority of the things she said. She's just a has-been trying to get publicity by using Angelina's name -- like I said before, she's simply mad at Jon Voight and his asinine statements.

She has to be one of the most pathetic low lifes in hollywood.
Rosanne Bar is a has-been. This is just a publicity stunt aimed at getting her a little attention. The woman is known for being rude, uncouthe and just generally offensive and embarrassing. This earns about 2 yawns in my book.

Why is it that each and every celebrity that decides to blog spell like.. that? They present themselves as complete idiots. Even though Kanye's "squid brains" had me laughing, I wish I could read their words and go "here's a smart person. No wonder he/she's so successful". No such luck.
This makes me SO mad! How much has she given to charity and what the hell has she done for humanity. And I really don't like people choosing a candidate based solely on their party. Be a grown-up and look at the issues and vote for the one who stands most similar to you on them.

Roseanne is a venom-spouting bully. Three million dollars to charity (if that is even accurate) is a hell of a lot more than most people in this world contribute to anything. (Roseanne also speaks as though the wealthy and successful OWE money and subsidies to people--what a crock.) By the way, I am a woman of Asian (Vietnamese) heritage, I love America, I served in the US Army, and I will vote for McCain. As for this slob saying: " it might be good for your Asian and African children's self-esteem to know you support Barack Obama, a man of color for the leader of the free world..." Puh-leeze. That racist sow offends me that my self-esteem will be improved if for Barack Obama is voted President. White lady, you have a lot to learn about Asians--so think twice before you spew. First Rosanne is reacting to a statment released to the press a week or two ago from Trevor Neilsen (her advisor) on behalf of Angelina. The statement at that time said that Angie had not decided on a canadiate. The actual statement was a bit of a media grab as no one had even asked Angelina this question recently. Rosanne's blog is not doubt rude. However she is reacting to the fact that not making a decision is supporting the war. Something which Angie has always talked against. Her ponit is well taken that they make millions and only give away the money that they get for selling the pictures of their bio and adopted children. I think that this may even be noticed more now because peoplewill be waiting to see where the 14 million dollars will go from the sale of the twins. It is one thing to say that you give money to charity but another to actually do it. Also people on this site have to realize that many stars give millions of dollars but do not release press statements about it. Mel Gibson for example gave over 10 million to various things but he never released a statement. I am also sure that Johnny Depp and Matt Damon also give but no one knows how much. Brad and Angie always release a statement to the press about their giving but it does not mean they give more than other stars they just they talk about it more. it is also very rude to call out names it makes you people on this blog the same as Rosanne just that your words are aimed at different people.

If it was completely private then you would not know about it. I believe that he gave money away, but how did you find out about it if nothing was said about it? When Brad and Angelina give money to something they can bring more attention to that cause and some causes announce they received a donation it isn't even Brad and Angelina making that statement.
Trevor Neilsen (her advisor) released that statement because according to reports both parties had approached Angelina for an endorsement. Rosanne should not go around attacking people and their children because of their political beliefs.
Brad and Angelina never realise statment how much they gave. The people who recived the money talk about it. we heard how much Jhonny gave money to the hosptial, we heard how much opera spend in south african school. etc. If melgibson gave 10 million how do you know about it? some one has to say it isn't it? The attack on brad and Angie just because they walk the walk is nothing but jealousy. All she is doing is calling Angelina out for being a self indulgent, superficial fraud. Hello are you people blind or are just just so obsessed with the whole Angelina/Brad circus that you fail to see that reality in it? Wake up and stop thinking these people are role models or that they are doing anything worthy of praise and/or admiration. They are not they are pigs who are doing nothing short of hording children. what is up with people backing up this ''false prophet'' Obama? Do you think he will change anything? American political institute is built on politics of continuity and it does not welcome changes at all. Democratic Congress promised to end the war or at least cut back on spending. What have they done? Appropriated more money to support Bush's war. The fact of the matter is Barack is just as bad as John McCain. Do not expect any change. He is obviously being backed by some powerful individuals who prefer to stay in shadows. He is also pretty weak and he will be easy to control. He is just another marionette. Wake up and smell the coffee. Both candidates are very bad.

I remeber watching Roseanne and loving her thinking she was great, but how dare she turn around and say such vile things about Maddoz, Pax and Zahara? Who is she to judge Angelina? This came from out-of-nowhere! I fully support that it's a publicity stunt from Roseanne. I'm surprised to find that it's working (as we're all talking about it... because, really, who checks Roseanne's blog in the first place??). As for the content of the blog, it really can't be taken seriously! It's her biased opinion, which she tried to beef up by throwing around numbers which aren't valid. Also, while it is true that they make millions and only donate a portion of this, they are also seen donating their time. They spend their own money to go overseas to volunteer. Angelina also serves as a UN ambassador, which I think should count for a lot! Furthermore, they are raising awareness to issues like child poverty and starvation, in a much more subdued yet effective manner. Roseanne may or may not have an interest in issues like these, but ranting through an online blog does nothing to draw positive attention to the issues or produce tangible benefits for the people who are suffering. I just think Roseanne is beyond immature for writing this. It's obivous that she didn't think this through before she started ranting. If she had some actual facts, and wasn't hypocritical herself, I might take her seriously. But honestly... this is just pathetic.

it's about time someone said something worthwhile about angelina. everyone else is like "blah blah blah she's super-mom!!!", no, she stinks. she's addicted to babies and she's insaaaane. she needs to be forced to stop adopting, and i dunno, i don't think a big sandwich would hurt.
Is it hard to believe that maybe Angelina just wants a big family and loves kids. There are thousands of family's with six or more kids, I don't think they would like to be told that there is something wrong with that. Why does it bother people that she has six kids, you don't have to raise them or take care of them. She has time to take care of them, her manager said she only works 40 days a year. My grandmother had six kids and they all turned out fine and had enough attention growing up.
