Daniel Radcliffe says his parents weren't too happy when he decided to go into acting. But hey, they must be thrilled now!
On what his parents think about his acting:
"'No, absolutely not,' is what they said when I was younger, but they’re pleased now. I got where I am by dumb luck. You only deserve what you have if you work hard. I know most actors hoped for a job, and then found themselves between jobs. For me, it was a great job at 11."
What we should know about Daniel as a person: "I’m a person who got lucky very young. I was brought up with a work ethic – show up on time, work hard and do your lines. I love literature massively. I have an interest in film, and I’m incredibly lucky to be doing it."
The one part he'd never play: "God."
Well, I have to say that it's refreshing to hear an actor admit that a lot of what got him where he is now, is luck. So many times actors talk about how hard they work and how that's what got them where they are. I believe that making a movie or a show takes a lot of hard work, but at the same time I know a lot of people who work their butts off and aren't millionnaires yet. :) If you get your lucky break, be thankful and run with it!
I love him, but he doesn't look so good in this picture. In fact at first I thought it was Elijah Woods.

I love how he's so modest and humble. I hope he stays that way.

Na he not modest it the truth if he hadnt happened to look like harry potter he would be where he is now its that simple fortunatly he is an ok actor. It could be worse he could have turn out as awful as Emma (over act much) Watson. But on the postive I think the Rupert Grint is awsome and my love of harry potter always out ways the bad parts of the films
