How Much Influence Does Harry Potter Really Have?
How much influence can one book series really have? The answer to that is...a LOT. Every since it was announced that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince movie release date was postponed until next July, other movies have been working their schedules around it. Now Quantum of Solace has moved it's release back a week to coincide with Thanksgiving since that will no longer mean competing with Harry.
Twilight jumped in to fill the open spot left after the Harry Potter date was changed too! I'm sure other movies who are now schedule to be released in July of '09 when the Half Blood Prince comes out, will be scrambling to move their dates as well.
And to think all this was started by one woman with a computer and a wild imagination. :)
