Kirsten Dunst Grabs Starbucks With A Friend

I have an addiction. No, it isn't cigarettes, alcohol or drugs. It's tea... from Starbucks. And my addiction is very pricey. I sat down one day and figured outthat I give that company over $1000 a year for... tea. TEA! And if I am really being honest with myself it's probably more like $1500 because sometimes I get two Black Tea Lemonades in a day. They have me in the palm of their hands. As I am writing this, hubby is out getting the family bagels and a BTL for me.Â
Kirsten Dunst could afford a pesky habit such as my own... lucky for her. She blinks and earns $1000. When you make millions of dollars a year, what's a venti tea? Really?

I tried the lemonade with green tea and it's not as good. The BTL is great, you're right. But: Soy Cinnamon Dolce Latte. In Dean Martin's words....Baby, that's livin'
You can make your own (recipe adapted from article here): Make a pot of Tazo black tea, double strength. Combine tea and lemonade, in equal parts, for the size drink you want. Then add 3-6 Tbsp. simple syrup. Pour over ice in a cocktail shaker. Shake and serve over ice. The recipe for classic simple syrup is: combine 2 cups water and 2 cups sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil stirring constantly, then reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally, until the sugar dissolves completely. -Suzie http://twitter.com/sirens_song
Starbucks sells their syrup. You don't have to make your own simple syrup. You can just buy a bottle of Classic syrup. Any of the syrups that come in that type of bottle can be sold, as long as the store has enough in stock. They run about $7 a bottle, give or take some change. I've worked for Sbux for 4 years and not many people know that they can buy our bottles of syrup. Buy Tazo Awake black tea, brew it double strength, so when you add ice it doesn't get super weak. Then add lemonade, the tea, and classic. Shake it up in a martini shaker or give it a stir and you have your very own BTL. That's how we make it. :)
Starbucks here doesn't offer Black Tea Lemonade, but I am addicted to their fraps. And don't even get me started on how much my sushi addiction costs me a year...UGH. Don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff :)
What's with the granny shoes? I can understand the green shades, the shirt, the scarf, but the shoes..????
I just do not like Dunst. I have always found her form of acting to be annoying, but I am happy to see that she is laughing and smiling. As for Starbucks, I have never even stepped foot in one. I am not a coffee of tea person. Well, off to get ready for a hurricane!
I really don't like Starbucks at all! I've tried them several times, but their coffee is absolutely terrible. The lattes suck too! Even after I add sugar, it still does not taste right. On top of that, they are insanely expensive. I have to give them props for their environmental efforts though.
I love the passion iced tea. You can get unsweetened and add sugar free syrup. You can also buy sugar free syrups, Torani, at your grocery store. I have sugar free vanilla (which I use to sweeten tons of things, including cocktails!) and raspberry. You can also find them on-line if not in your store.
