I know she's joking to deflect the attention... but I'm having a salad for lunch either way. Actually, that's a lie. I hate salad.

i think she's gained more than five pounds, and she never looked like a size zero.

she's not saying that size 1 means you are fat, she's saying that she was size zero and gained reaching size 1, for her personally she's fat as she gained weight. If I'm size 2 and gained to size 3, i say that i'm fat. I wouldn't imply however ever that women of either sizes 2 or 3 fat. She's just saying that in comparision to the weight she was before she gained she's fat.

I don't really think she is calling a size one fat - although she could have stated this better. I imagine that when you are a size 0 - to me she has ALWAYS seemed like a tiny little person - gaining enough weight to make you go up a size will make YOU feel fat. Adding 5lbs. to a 100lb. frame is a lot different than adding 5lbs. to a 160lb. frame. Why take this comment personally?
I realize she was joking, but you know, she could have just said - "I've gained some weight (or a few lbs or whatever), and I went up a dress size." There was no need to bring the numbers into it! NOT such a great role model.

I don't like this beeyotch but I have to agree you people are getting all worked up for nothing. She's barely 5 feet tall so ofcourse she's going to feel fat at a size 1 and I doubt she gained only 5 lbs. it looks more like 10-12 lbs. 5 lbs wouldn't spread all over her face, midsection and thighs. She's gained a significant amount for that to show.
I think you ladies are a bit too sensitive and want to take this to another level. Im was a size four 2 months ago and now im a size 6 and i've been complaining to the world that im a fat cow. I dont think women who are a size 6 are fat at all. Its just that I personally have gained like 12 pounds in a short period of time and feel like a pig. Stop taking things out of context. If it were an actress you actually liked the comments would be so much different.
Well, I'm an Amazon compared to Eva, so . . . feh! I yam what I yam what I yam. ;> And yes, she is incredibly petite, and I was watching reruns of Desperate Housewives on Lifetime this morning, and she mostly definitely was tiny as well as petite.

She is a very tiny, small-boned person...but she has gained a hell of a lot more than 5 pounds. That amount does not make your stomach stick out like that, nor does it show in your face. i`m five foot one and if i gain 5 pounds let me tell you that it looks like i gain 20 `cause when your not tall it`s shows everywere!!! so maybe she really took 5 pounds.... but yeah her belly is kind of bigger than" normal"
She could have stated this differently as there are a lot of girls and women out there who could take this to heart and strive to be a zero that isn't considered "fat". And I agree, to her she probably seems "fat", just like most of us can have our off days and feel fat or think we're fat.
It just goes to show you how hung up on looks everyone in Hollywood is. Why she even feels the need to tell everyone how much weight she gained and what size she is now is beyond me. I don't care what size she is or how much weight she gained - it has no value. Not to mention i don't believe her anyway.
She's so puffy, how is she a size 1? Oh no someone in Hollywood gets to a normal size and *gasp* she's fat (not saying a 1 is normal, she doesn't look like a 1 to me).
