Imagine walking around, minding your own business and someone comes at you like this while you are all alone? I would be jumpy too!
Keira Knightley has recently admitted that she is jumpy and on edge at all times because of the occasional run in she has with a fan.
"The other day I was walking down the street and was really thinking about this book I’d been sent. You know when you’re really in another place. Somebody jumped out and went, ‘Keira Knightley!’
"I got such a shock, I couldn’t say anything because I’d been thinking about the book and this guy took incredible offence and started hurling the most amazing abuse.
"He said, ‘Who the f**k do you think you are? You’re such a c**t.’ All this, and I’m completely on my own."
And Knightley is finding it hard to recover from the encounter.
"It’s weird thing to have to deal with, not on a day-to-day basis, but it’s happened enough to make me quite jumpy."

stunning hair, stunning makeup. I always forget her accent, but heard her on E last night, and she gives me a giggle when she talks, always with the accent like Princess Di, less cockney than other English current celeb's, yet peppered with slang, a fun dichotomy.
I just can't imagine dealing with that. People are way too bold and think that stars OWE them something, it's weird. They are just people.
I can understand that. I too, space off, and it's so hard when the fans just want me to focus on them!! J/K, but I do space off at work and forget to do my job sometimes. Oh well. Hey, is that why I have to work weekends?? :-)
I would be freaked out too. Wow.
Come on, it happens to everybody ! She's just so pretentious, posh and in her famous thing she thinks she deserves better and people can't go crazy around her. Breaking news : some people have problems, and if they hadn't done this to her, they would have done it to someone else. Has it never happened to you ? I mean, I'm not a celebrity, but once a guy I didn't know hit me in the face just like that before running away, and I've been insulted several times in the street by ****ed up guys... it just happens. But true, it's freaky to be called your name. I was okay after I was king of insulted because I knew these guys couldn't find me.
What? I'm so confused.
Hey Esteru, can I have a hit off of that thing you're smoking?
Hm... I read my comment again, I think I've been understandable, have I not ?
I just read it again - I guess I can kind of make out what you're saying, but I have to disagree with the gist of it. I personally don't think it's normal AT ALL for someone to have just run up and hit you and run off - actually, that's the antithesis of normal, in my book. And I don't think she was being snotty by saying she was startled when some stranger approached her and became angry at her for not immediately leaving her own thoughts to respond to him on the street. Getting angry because someone you THINK you know, because you've seen them on a movie screen, doesn't respond to you like you are their best friend is not a rational reaction. Just sayin.
That would be really scary, I'm surprised she was alone.
Don't they have food where she lives??
Someone calling out your name would be fairly scary for a non-celeb, but for a celebrity of her status, I somehow get the feeling that people are ALWAYS calling out her name. So, no, I don't see how that is scary. Even if she was thinking real hard about that book... HAH.
