Jessica Simpson Stops Singing Midway Through Performance

Well, a technical function is better than a wardrobe malfunction. Jessica Simpson had to stop singing partway through one of her songs because she couldn't hear anything.
"Hold on, I know this is live TV but I can't hear anything," she said as she starting singing her quadruple platinum hit "With You" on Good Morning America.
The music stopped, the crowd in Times Square went silent and then she counted down for her musicians to start again.
"You got it?" she asked. "There you go!"
Hey, more credit to her for just jumping back in there!

Is She getting bigger?
I give her credit for just rolling on with it like no big deal. :) She looks so great here with the "less" makeup look. :D
She does look chunky. That dress makes her look pregnant. Ugh!
I watched as much as I could take before having to change the channel. It was painful! And her gesticulations! Good grief!
She wasn't a good pop "star" and she's as bad at singing country. Being blonde, chesty, and pretty does not mean one has talent. I don't know how her father managed to make her a star. Oh, wait -- she's blonde, chesty, and pretty.

So THAT'S what was going on! I was watching at the gym but there was no sound (it was probably nicer that way!) She's been wearing those frumpy dresses lately, so maybe she is pregnant. Can't let Ashlee have ALL the glory!
I had to laugh when I heard her talking. She is over doing the Southern accent. Plus, the twang to the song, didn't sound right at all. I thought she looked good though.
I like her. I can't help it. Even when she first came out in those horrible outfits and OKAY songs, I just love her. PLUS - this proves that she does sing live. She really does have a beautiful and strong voice, and I hope country music is where she can share it.
She looks very frumpy. She is not a star at singing or acting. She should stick to designing shoes and purses. And she doesn't want Ashley having any moment to herself, she does want to jump in and overshadow with a baby of her own. Too bad, so sad. Her voice is mediocre. Her body movements are embarassing. Carrie Underwood puts her to shame in music and class.
Just like XTINA---so fake--no originality and desperate for attention and an identity. PATHETIC!!

LOL I noticed her toes hanging over too. Can't be comfortable. Pretty soon she will need plastic surgery on her feet. there is a difference between her and Christina though, Christina has a fabulous voice. She can actually sing circles around Jessica. Beautiful voice.
i would have given her more credit if she would have completely stopped singing and walked off stage...because that's what we really wanted. technichal malfuncion? i didn't know not being able to sing well and shouting poorly written, unoriginal lyrics was considered a technical malfunction. you learn something new every single day!
She is really thin and tiny, the clothing choice she wore here is just wrong for her short body. Her huge boobs pushed up to her chin are not helping anything either they just make her look chunky. She was much better singing pop music, this whole country twang thing she had going on just sounded bad. BUT AT LEAST SHE WAS REALLY SINGING. UNLIKE EVERY OTHER 'SINGER'.
Then after she "couldn't hear" - she forgot the words to "With You". And what is the deal with her fake country singing voice??? Carrie Underwood doesn't sound like that. Very scary. Next year she'll tell us her TRUE passion is Rap music and come out all gangsta.

Poor no talent hack, she soooooooooo can not sing. Completely pitchy. Family is weird/strange and definately cling-ons. Big difference between being a close functional family and the comments your dad makes, the way both mom & dad have to go everywhere with her and make sure they are in EVERY photo op they can. Joe does not strike me as a former minister at all. This week she's country, next week jazz, no wait rap lol! Go home Jess, just please go home, many, many people find you a no talent joke; didn't you get the memo??
