Lauren Conrad Scores Book Deal

This girl is on a roll!  Lauren Conrad's reality TV show became bigger than I'm sure she had ever imagined.  Then she scored a clothing line, and up next is a book deal.

She'll be writing three books based on her own experiences transitioning from normal person to celeb.

Lauren says,

"It's definitely influenced by my own life. The books are about a girl who moves to L.A. and stars in a reality show, so obviously there are some similarities."

She adds that she won't be basing characters off of her friends, though.

"I'm not trying to do a fictional story based on all my friends in my real life because their stories aren't really mine to tell. Some of the characters may symbolize people in my life, but it is in no way calling anyone out."

And her friends and family, that know, have been there to support her in this new venture,

"I run ideas by Lo and I'll ask for her opinion because I value my friends' opinions. Honestly I haven't told everyone. I've told my best friends and they have all been really supportive. Nobody was worried."

The outline for the first book is already done, but no word on when it will be hitting shelves.
