Why Are They Always So Sad?

I have never seen a picture of Denise Richards' children smiling. They always look so sad and upset. I wonder if they are truly terrified of the paparazzi or if it's just their absolute demeanor.
I've only seen clips of Denise's reality show, and none of them have involved her children. Was there ever a time when one of her two girls looked happy? Even that isn't the best evidence to look at since I'm sure there were several camera men around to do the shoot.Â
I feel like I should stop publishing pictures of them...Â

I think it's a good resolution, I don't agree with posting pictures of children in general, but they look just miserable. And Anonymous 10:10, sorry, but you must be an idiot, speaking so mean about a child.
Every picture I see of her kids, they're always miserable. Meanwhile you see Denise smiling from ear to ear. Very strange!
I don't think Denise did anything wrong. What more likely happened as I see they're leaving a store is this kid didn't get what she wanted inside the store and is throwing a sulky hissy fit about it. My son used to pull this all the time. It's what kids do when they hear the word "no" from a parent. BTW I have seen lots of pictures of Denise's kids smiling, i.e - when Denise was bringing them from Ballet class -WHERE THERE WERE NO TOYS TO SULK ABOUT - That comment is unfair that they never look happy.
If you ask me, the child is sulking. Typical children sulk when they don't get what they want. Nothing wrong with that... all children do it. It's sad that "children" are under a microscope because of their "famous parents". :(

I agree with the above poster who says that the child is sulking. Kids that age do that. They get tired and irrational and are past nap-taking, and they have little attitudes. That being said, I can't imagine they enjoy facing a barrage of cameras every single day of their lives...especially when Mommy tips off the paps every time they go out.

What an unfair comment Vera! And how unlike you! There are lots of pics of both of her girls smiling. Children have their moods, too. They are not ALWAYS smiling. Are you? If you want to stop posting pictures of a child that never smiles, try Suri Cruise.
I think you misunderstood the intent behind Vera's statement. I believe she meant: if having their pictures taken is what makes these children miserable, maybe she should stop PURCHASING the pictures (or posting pictures she gets through pay sites) and thus decrease the demand for photos of Denise's children. She doesn't want to contribute to their misery. She didn't mean that they're not cute/happy enough looking for her to post their photos. Hope that clears that up.

I have seen many pictures of them smiling. Well not many but a couple. As Denise told the press, they are in therapy because of their "issues" so maybe they're just unhappy children. But wouldn't you be unhappy if your parents were Charlie and Denise? :(

What sad is that the girls are frowning bu Denise if smiling and totally oblivious. Just like Katie Holmes and Ton Cruise when Suri hides her eys and covers her ears. These parents are truly out of touch. I feel sorry for the kids. Also I have a feeling if Charlie and his new wife have a son, his daughters by Denise will get zero attention.

Charlie and Denise aren't parents of the year, no wonder the kids are screwed up. At least Charlie does seem to care, somewhat, and Denise thinks she can get money off of her kids. What kind of life is that? That kid definitely needs more therapy. Poor thing.
I think Denise is an attention wh0re, and her kids are the opposite. Looking at all of the bags that Denise is carrying, her daughter is probably just tired and cranky from all of that shopping.
i have watched her show and seen her kids happy, smiling and laughing. i find though from watching the show they seem a litle shy both of them. maybe they just hate getting their pics taken. i dont blame denise for the frowns on thier faces in pics cause when i see them with charlie its the same thing. but their heads always seem to be down, so thats why im thinking they are just shy.
Children caught in the middle of ongoing custody battles can become pretty traumatized... and the paps may scare them too, you don't know what they're yelling while they take the pictures...
I am a frequent gossip blog reader and I have not seen one picture of the Sheen children even so much as looking happy. It could be that they don't like the cameras. or the people holding them, but even at a fun event they don't seem to be having fun at all--ever.
On the show, the little amount they were in it they were always smiling and laughing and playing. I think they might ACTUALLY BE AFRAID OF THE CAMERAS..... men they don't know chasing their mommy. I could see that being a possibility. I'm sure the people who filmed her show became close with everyone so it wasn't as weird for the girls then, seeing the same people every day and seeing their mother talk to them and they see she's ok with them being there. But out in public, and I'm sure Denise is vocal about being followed (she always was on the show), the girls probably get scared.
Yes, please stop! Denise's show proved what a publicity dog she is - her poor kids are victims! Charlie's not looking so bad these days.... make you wonder.
