I just found out about a nearby country store that I pretty much emptied this morning. It was as big as my bedroom (if that), but it was jam packed with goodies. And my house is decorated in this way. I don’t go overboard where it becomes sickening. But it’s enough to get the feel of what I like.

Well, I LIKED!

I walked out with 6 bags of goodies to help fill up some of my empty wall space and fireplace nook.

Then hubby and I hit the movie theatre as today was a pre-planned date day. We saw Tropic Thunder and were the only two people in the theatre. Nothing else was really appealing to me this week and we haven’t seen that one yet.

Once the show was over, we headed over to a nursery and bought some fall flowers for decoration. All in all, this was a great day. The weather FINALLY was cool enough for me to justify making the adjustment to my favorite season.

Nicollette Sheridan was spotted strolling through Beverly Hills making her way to the Jim Wayne Salon for a facial. She was followed by the usual pack of paparazzi, while male onlookers just gawked at her with their mouths agape. I don’t think the man in the brown shirt could be any more obvious!

Who would have thought that political items could be so stylish? Want to show your support this election? You’re lucky then, because there are all sorts of fun items out there. Both McCain and Obama have stores on their websites, and Obama has enlisted the help of some great designers. Some of the items in his store have famous faces behind them, like Vera Wang and Juicy Couture. Seems to me, this will be the most stylish election ever.

I have a feeling that EVERY actor is obsessed with working alongside Martin Scorsese, but Lindsay Lohan is the most recent one to admit it. That man can make a career with one of his movies. It would be a wonderful thing for Lindsay to snag a job alongside one of our greatest directors. Time will tell…
