Vanessa Williams Praises Lindsay Lohan's Work Ethic

I guess if Lindsay Lohan ever becomes part of an actor's cast, they have to prepare themselves for questions about her work ethic. Everyone is so desperate to find something interesting to write about Lindsay these days and the truth is, she is keeping quiet and working hard.
Someone got a hold of Vanessa Williams and asked how she felt Lindsay did on the set of Ugly Betty.Â
"I think she was shocked by all the hours we work. In TV, with all the setups and characters we have, it's not a cushy job.

"I think she not only rose to the occasion but did a really good job. I think people will be pleased. She makes a great transition from Kimmie, who is working at Flushing Burger, to working for me at Mode, and I think people will enjoy seeing her progress."

aaauuuuugh...I really wish you would stop writing about her! It's tiring and boring. She does not deserves this much attention. geez.
I find it refreshing to come to a blog that isn't actually bashing Lindsay, it's like everyone is just waiting for her to slip and taking pleasure in it. It seems like she can do no right despite the fact that she is clearly trying to turn her life around and is working and seemingly happy and healthy. I think people should just cut her some slack, being a recovering addict is a slippery slop and you need support not constant ridicule and people making moral judgment about your past. I hope she makes a killer comeback to prove the haters wrong!
she DOES deserve this kind of attention, #1- she's coming back from something terrible that happened and she's doing it well. it's awful that people want to see her fail, and that no one's happy reading about her doing better. if you don't like it, go to perez.

what happened she doesn't go to clubs anymore or she goes but the paparazzi don't take picture of her? it's not possible that she stop clubbing all of a sudden! all we see recently is: LL at airport LL on Set LL in club where Sam Ronson has to work LL at official events oh and LL shopping of course!
I bet she is well behaved this time around. Its because she NEEDS the money! Duh!
I think it's crazy how judgemental and moralistic people are about her and it just somehow seems to be connected to her being female. Nobody ever hates on Robert Downey Jr or Shia to this degree and it's not like she is the first Hollywood star that has been to rehab or got a DUI .I am not a big fan but I agree with the poster above that it's kind of sad that people actually belive they are equipped to make some character assesment based on what they read about someone on a gossip site. Anyway she's young, like everyone else she needs a second chance, so just let her get on with the rest of her life without all the hating.
I look forward to the episodes she is going to be in.
The only movie I will ever remember Lindsay in is the 'parent trap', otherwise her career is OVER. She will forever be known as a paparazzi stalker if anything. She wants to be bossy, she refuses to be told what to do, so she's still drinking and drugging. Has anybody seen the recent pic in ontd the closeup pic of her with coke in her right nostril?! Yes people believe it or not, she's still drinking and drugging. She lost what, 40 pounds in less than 2 months, that's what coke does to you, it dries you up!
I will not watch anything that Lindsay is in, ever.
