Kelly Osbourne Says Victoria Beckham And Jennifer Lopez Are Faking The Friendship

This is so taboo! You aren't supposed to out celebrities who are in fake relationships for press. It's all part of the game that Kelly Osbourne doesn't want to play anymore. While attending the mark Jacobs fashion show in NYC earlier this month, Kelly is insisting that Victoria Beckham and Jennifer Lopez put on a friendship act in order to get more press.Â
"I was directly across from her (Beckham) and Jennifer Lopez and I couldn’t stop staring at them both - I looked at them more than the clothes!
"I know it’s not my place to say, and I hope I’m so wrong, but I’ve never seen two people pretend to like each other more in my life. They were holding hands, but it looked like Victoria was holding a s**tty bit of toilet paper!
"They were sat next to each other but you could’ve sat a whole person in between them."
So what do you think? Is Kelly overreacting? Or is this more common in Hollywood than we think?

why would they do that and why would she even care? is she friends with either one of them?

I think it's more common than we think. Hollywood is full of fake everything, including fake friendships. Like, "We'll be best friends for tonight, but then I won't see or talk to you again for months." It's all about marketing themselves and saving face in front of others.
First, who cares what Kelly Osbourne says or thinks? Since when did she become the arbiter of celebrity authenticity? Frankly, I still can't even believe she got a book deal. Second, I'd guess that at least 80 percent of celebrity friendships are fake -- or at least not much more than acquaintances. It's a business built on make-believe and appearance, so why would friendships be any different?

Haha, love Kelly and her honesty! If we didn't care about celebrity gossip, we wouldn't be on this site, and no, I don't want to be "fooled" by fakes. I don't care if "everyone" does it. I think the reason they do it is for more publicity, and more sales of whatever they're touting (perfume, clothing, etc).
I think most of what we see in Hollywood is fake. The publicists are getting paid among other things, for spinning publicity for their clients. Some really have their work cut out for them. To keep the likes of Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson in the spotlight is a very hard job. I like Jennifer and I do think she gets a bum rap most of the time. It has been said that her publicist(Steven Huvane) creates relationships for her to help keep her interesting and in the news. I have heard the same thing about Jessica only I think it her dad that does the spinning.

I'm sure they are not the best of friends and they put on smiles and took some pictures together but SO WHAT? And WTF?! Why is Kelly even talking about 2 people she knows nothing about? Do we really care what she has to say?? Please, I think she WISHES she was as famous as any of those two..
Haha, that's what I was goint to say :-P I bet Kelly is jelous that SHE didn't get to sit with them, or take pictures with them. Did anyone really even know she was at the show until she said this??

Cant stand Kelly Osbourne anymore...she such an effing drama queen. Who cares if their faking it? It worked...They got more press, and by her opening her big mouth is just giving them MORE press. GAHHHH

Hollywood is all smoke and mirrors. Fake marriages, fake friends, whatever. But Kelly is coming across as a bit jealous. Maybe she is because she, in her over inflated opinion of her celebritydom, wasn't asked to join in.
I bet it happens ALL the time.
Why would they need to fake their friendship? Both of them are famous and rich.
I'm glad Kelly did come out with the truth. In the past JLO has said herself how Marc was such close friends with David Beckham. David and Posh are way more popular than she is so of course she wants to associate herself with them, including the hand-holding with Posh at that fashion show. But just last week when she gave Marc that lavish supposedly "star-studded" birthday party neither Posh nor David were there, nor were Marc and JLO in attendance when David gave Posh a birthday party this year with all "her good friends" there. So Kelly has only squashed the rumors that JLO and Marc are such BFF with the Beckhams. Maybe JLO and Posh were being so obviously fake she couldn't help but say something, because if more of the "TRUTH" was revealed about Hollywood this world would be a better place. lol!!
I think she is jealous
This is the stupidest thing I've heard in a long time. Why does kelly feel the need to open her big mouth over other people's business. Of course they aren't friends, they are acquaintances. I think everyone has run into someone who is a friend of a friend and you do the fake "hello" "how are you" "you look great" and hug or shake hands. It's called being polite and im sure the photogs loved every minute of it and were glad they took the pictures. kelly is definitely jealous and unhappy with her life. she's so busy all the time being "real" which translates into her being miserable and alone.
This was actually a blind item not too long ago. I don't know the exact wording but two famous fashionistas that seem to be best friends actually hate each other...I bet it is true!
