Heavy Reading For Halle Berry

Heavy Reading For Halle Berry

Well, that isn't my typical summer read now is it?

When Halle Berry works out, she likes to educate herself on some heavy topics. Guess it makes running the treadmill a piece of cake if you are learning how to diagnose psychological personality disorders.

Here she is walking in Brentwood after training holding a book called 'Diagnosis and Treatment of Multiple Personality Disorder' written by Frank W. Putnam.

Update: Actually Halle is researching her role for Frankie and Alice where she plays a young woman struggling with multiple personality disorder.

Probably reading for a role. But it kills me the way stars always carry their books with the cover facing out at the world. Just bugs me to death.

Maybe we're not looking at the same photo...but it doesn't look to me like Halle's hips and thighs are back to normal. She looks like lots of other women who've given birth recently. It bugs me when stars carry their books with the title on display, too. I wonder who helps them with the big words?

I carry around a big purse and still will carry things in my hands. I never stick my phone, ipod, or chapstick in my purse but even other things like books. and for all those going on about the book sticking out.. umm have you never carried a book? it feels better for the page sides to be aganist the arm or body then the bound side. I haven't a clue why it just does.

I was a Psychology major in college and Multiple Personality Disorder doesn't even exist anymore these days. It was always mistaken for it's own disorder MPD but it really is Schizophrenia.

what dumb ass is even allowed to still publish something that is not even a medical term anymore anyways?

Actually Anonymous... it is still technically a medical term, it was MPD in the DSM-III, but in the DSM-IV it's called Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) and has pretty much the same Etiology, Symptoms, etc. And Schizophrenia is a separate disorder, but they do have comorbid symptoms. D.I.D is absolutely a disorder and not apart of Schizophrenia.
