Paul Newman has died of cancer at his home in Westport, Connecticut. He was 83 years old. The industry has lost a great individual who will forever be remembered.

Among others, Paul was known for the following films:

• Cat on a Hot Tin Roof
• Exodus
• The Hustler
• Color of Money
• Cool Hand Luke
• Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
• The Sting
• The Verdict

I’m reading a bit about him on CNN and there is a quote I have to share. Paul was married to Joanne Woodward, someone who also left a mark on Hollywood. He said he would never cheat on her because… well, I’ll let you read it on your own:

"Why would I go out for a hamburger when [I] have steak at home?"

Ashley Olsen is rumored to be dating National Treasure’s Justin Bartha. The pair were spotted hanging out and getting cozy in Vegas where Justin is currently filming The Hangover.

Sources say these two have spent several days together and Ashley is very happy.

The twin flew to the city earlier this week and was photographed attending a performance of musical Jersey Boys with Bartha on Tuesday, before they headed off for an intimate dinner together.

“(They) couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
They were rubbing each other, hand-touching and there was barely a break in their conversation.
“It’s pretty serious. Ashley is really comfortable with Justin. It’s a good fit.

Good for her! We hardly see Ashley dating. I’m sure she has a personal llife that she keeps out of the press. But it’s nice to hear what a “good fit” these two are. Click on the thumbnails below if you want to see who Justin is.

Well, this sounds more like the truth. The other day, it was reported that DJ AM was released from the hospital and took the bus home to LA. FISHY and debunked!

But Jermaine Dupri has told People that Travis Barker has about two more weeks left of his hospital stay. In the meantime, friends and family are doing all they can to keep the rocker comfortable.

“He’s doing good, he’s gonna be all right. He’s just got a lot of healing to do. He’s supposed to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days
to let everybody know that he’s feeling better. He’s definitely feeling
the love from everyone.

“He’s just now getting everything in the hospital set up for him -
iPods, computers, everything that he needs. You got to make sure he is
comfortable.”

David and Victoria Beckham have admitted their children are sounding very American these days. They initially vowed their sons Brooklyn, nine, Romeo, seven and three-year-old Cruz would keep their English roots.
But being as young as they are, it was bound to happen as the children are currently in school.

"They are getting American accents.
I think it’s really cute. They love it here. They have a great school. The opportunities in America are fantastic. We love England but for us to be here is great."

It’s funny because my grandmother has been here for 50 years or so and she has kept her Maltese accent sounding as if she never left the island. Then I met someone the other day who was from Australia, but has been here for about 20 years. Her accent kicked in only with certain words, otherwise she sounded like she was born in New York. Guess everyone is different.

Mario Lopez has become the latest star to write a children’s book.
The former Saved By The Bell star has written Mud Taco with his sister Marissa, about his experiences growing up.
A source says,

"For fun, he and Marissa would make tacos out of mud in the backyard, substituting worms for cheese, grass for lettuce and mud for meat. Mario would dare Marissa to eat one, but she’d refuse. Now they’re writing a book about it to teach children to be strong and creative.

The new book is due out in 2009, according to Life & Style magazine.

I wrote a children’s book when my daughter was born. I sent it to a few publishing houses and got the big decline for every single one returned. Sad to say, that was the end of that.
