Carrie Underwood In Elle Magazine

Carrie Underwood In Elle Magazine

Carrie Underwood isn't one of those celebrities who complains about the lifestyle they've made for themselves. In a recent interview with Elle Magazine she says she's making the best of the situation she's in.  I love celebs who are grateful for what they have.

-On dealing with celebrity: "I knew what I was signing up for, and I'm not complaining at all. I've learned how to deal with it, and my life is great, I'm a happy person. What are you going to do? Give it all up? No!"

-On the drama surrounding celebrities: "All celebrities have to be involved in drama – or they're not celebrities! There must be something wrong with 'em!"

-On her comment that a taken Tony Romo still calls her: "It was just something that was said in passing, and I would never mean to say anything to hurt anybody or to stir up anything, because I'm just not about drama. At all. I might be mad too if somebody said my boyfriend was calling some other girl. So I can definitely see where she would be coming from. But I haven't talked to him since, like, May."

-On why she tries to keep her love life out of the public eye: "If I say I am or I'm not, as soon as this magazine comes out, it might be the opposite of what I tell you now. In three months, it'll be 'Carrie said she's not dating anybody,' yet last night, I was out on the town with some guy. He's going to get mad at me. Everybody's going to think I'm a liar. It's just best not to go there."

Keep reading, this is a long one!  After the jump Carrie even gets into the subject of her dream guy.

-On her fantasy of meeting someone who doesn't really know who she is: "If I meet somebody, and they don't know anything about me, that's like, 'Oh, you're going to actually get to know me a little bit before you go Google me?"

-On fashion: "I've been trying to dress myself a little better now just because I feel like people are disappointed when they meet me and they're like, "Oh, her hair's in a ponytail; she doesn't have any makeup on.' So I've been trying to, I guess, meet people's expectations a little bit more and actually look like a real person that has a real job."

-On life on the road: "I don't know how people do it. It's tiring. It's hard. Right now I do a lot because I have no reason not to. I don't have a husband or kids. If I go home, I'm home by myself. I have no reason not to be on the road, no reason not to just get out there and do everything right now, while I'm young enough to, while I can enjoy it. But I think when I get a little older, I definitely want to slow down, just because it's very stressful. It's hard on your body, hard on your mind, hard on your emotions."

I lover her but she does look older than she is, I think because of all the make up she wears. Reminds me of Eva Longoria way to much make up.

Sounds to me like Carrie lied when she said Tony was still calling her. Seems like she said it to make it sound like the hot football star misses herbecause she's so amazing and sexy and talented, etc., but when she got called out on it, she had to save face and be all vague "I think he called me in May or something." She seems very high school. I think she's a pretty girl, but her face it kind of too flat or something.

she did that interview in thw begining of may, and it says that in the interview everyone just seems to ignore that. Intervies for articles can be done months before they come out. and as for her creating all the drana Jessica is the one that started saying stuff about Carrie before Carrie said anything.

She is getting on my nerves. She seems to be all about drama. Time for her to shut up.

SHes starting to remind me a little of Jess-(successful, really talented artist Jess) Yeah, yeah we get it Carrie-shes been doing lotsa interviews lately but doesnt have much to say-well I have something to say You are pretty but please lighten up the makeup and simplify your hair a little-you look much older than your twenty something age. When I look at her I just see lots of foundation and tons of eyeliner-like shes covering something up..and the hair-why so big ALL the time..She would look supercute if shed simplify her look at least when shes not performing-this is an area where Jess has her beat. At least Jess can keep it a little natural looking when shes out and about

Lighten up on this gal. I like her, with make-up and without. Dressed up, or in sweats burping Coca Cola. She's not dramatic. She is just in the limelight. People ask her questions because she is a star. They are curious about her. She can't help that. She's not responsible for what they ask her. She has also had a very demanding schedule. She hasn't had much time to think about anything but each performance. She's also a private person. Excuse her for her quick responses. She doesn't have time to give you the perfect response that will please everyone. I love her just how she is. I love who she is and what she's about. I'de love her just as much in a ponytail as in the fanciest of hairdos. Remember, she's no please everyone politician. She's an excellent singer with a heart of gold. I love her inner and outer beauty. I love her southern charm. I love her fantastic up-bringing. I love her wonderful voice, her sweetest of smiles and her every breath. I love her simply because she is Carrie. I love her for all the right reasons. I LOVE YOU BABYDOLL. Sincerely, Bryan

All I have to say is the fact that all of you haters take the time to speak out about how much you don't like her shows she at least got your attention which is more then probably all of you can say to someone else. And the fact that your taking time out of your day to type those things shows some pretty insecure and pathetic feelings. I am a fan so I will take time to write this up. But I would never take the time out of my day to talk about someone I don't like unless I was incredibly insecure about myself. Good job guys! Way to keep the insecurities up and heard!!
