Ladies Of The BAFTA’s
Posted on February 08, 2009 at 10:18 PM

We had so many celebrity ladies that attended the BAFTA’s
in London with each looking truly spectacular. For the most part each
women kept their style pretty classic. My favorite standout was Marisa Tomei because her gown went perfectly with her hair and make up. And of course it doesn’t hurt that the woman doesn’t age!
Here are the rest of the ladies from the event:
- Kate Winslet
- Penelope Cruz
- Emma Watson
- Thandie Newton
- Kylie Minogue
- Goldie Hawn
- Sharon Stone
- Marisa Tomei
- Freida Pinto
Did you miss Kate’s speech for her win??? Here is the text below:
“To be given this award at home, this really means a
great deal to me. “Thank you Bafta, thank you. I want to thank
everybody involved in the making of this film. They all know who they
are and they all deserve a big fat piece of this.
“I want to thank my friends and my family, especially my mum and
dad, who I will not look at right now, otherwise I will burst into
tears.“Thank you mum and dad so much for your love and support.
“I want to share this with two producers on this film, I know I’m
not alone when I say I can’t believe they’re no longer with us, Anthony
Minghella and Sydney Pollack.“You are much missed today, and you will be much missed for many years to come, and this is for you. Thank you. Thank you.”

loooove emma and thandie’s dresses.
i like emmas dress
I think Kate is annoying. Her lips and her nose are oddly shaped and make her look old and harsh.
I really don’t see how the shape of someone’s lips or nose could possibly make them “annoying,” but whatever……
All of these women look lovely. I think my favorite “look” from this group has to be Emma Watson.
she is not annoying because of her lips, silly. she is annoying because she seems like a whiny person. lips and nose remark is just an extra bonus. start connecting dots and read between lines.
Love Penelope, so happy to see her win this!!!!!!
werid looking lips?…wow…you sound silly yourself.
Freida is becoming one of my favorite red carpet ladies!!!
Sharon’s dress looks quite strange. It makes her look like her boobs are about to migrate to the waistline
Only Thandie Newton looks lovely to me.The rest looked off.
Kate’s dress is not nice!!
