Yesterday, while attending TV Guide’s Sexiest Stars party at the Sunset Tower Hotel, actress Tia Mowry wore a beautiful black “Carmel” dress from the Fall 2009 collection of Riller & Fount, paired with stunning Rene Caovilla black snake wrap-up flats with Swarovski crystal detailing .

Here’s a recap for those of you who are wondering, what furor?Kim Kardashian did a photoshoot for Complex Magazine.Complex Magazine then posted the un-photoshopped version of one picture on their website.This apparently caused an internet furor because people could see that (gasp!) Kim has cellulite.Kim responded on her blog.

[Y]ou know what, who cares!

So what: I have a little cellulite. What curvy girl doesn’t!?

How many people do you think are photoshopped? It happens all the time!"

It’s always refreshing to hear someone state the obvious, isn’t it?Why in the world would the idea that Kim (or any other woman, for that matter) has cellulite even be a surprise?

I’m
proud of my body and my curves and this picture coming out is probably
helpful for everyone to see that just because I am on the cover of a
magazine doesn’t mean I’m perfect.

Good for her!Have we honestly become so warped in our thinking about women’s bodies that we believe these magazine photos are accurate?It’s not like photoshopping is some secret process!

During her Washington DC concert on Tuesday, Britney Spears wished the audience a Merry Christmas. Move forward to the :47 second mark.

Guess she is in the mood for the holiday already!!

Twilight star (and husband to Jennie Garth) Peter Facinelli (Dr. Cullen) thanked soldiers and their families for their service to the country during a visit to Fort Lewis.The visit was scheduled to last for two hours last Saturday but ended up lasting until 2 a.m.Sunday: 16 and a half hours after the event started.

‘I have hosted over 2,000 celebrity appearances in my career with AAFES
and I have met some really cool and down to earth people but Peter is
in a class by himself, I do not believe in the history of celebrity
appearances that ONE PERSON signed 16.5 hours NON STOP in ONE DAY! If
someone claims they did well I would like for them to prove it,’ said [Ft. Lewis PX's General Manager]
McGhee."

Peter signed everything fans wanted with no limitations and even posed for pictures, despite how long the event was running.One fan, Becky, posted on the Twilight Lexicon about how touched she was.

I commend Peter for his time, he is truly the most classy and giving of
any of the cast of the twilight series. I personally stood in line from
11am to 8pm to get a signature and behind me were probably 100 more
fans. Peter you are amazing to me. I am touched. Thank you for thinking
of us soldiers and family members."

Peter was truly generous with his time, which is incredibly admirable.How lucky were those soldiers and their families?

I told you a couple of days ago about Lauren Conrad’s fashion line going "on hiatus" and wondered if that was just a face-saving way of phasing it out.Apparently, other people must have wondered the same thing, because Lauren is addressing the speculation directly on her MySpace blog.

‘As a result [of the announcement about the hiatus], a lot of people were under the impression that my line was
being discontinued or had been dropped,’ she [said]. ‘This isn’t the
case at all. The truth is, I was the one who asked to take a couple
seasons off.’ "

Lauren wrote that she plans on making "some changes in production so I would be able to lower the price point."In this economic climate, that sounds like a really savvy move!

Lauren closes her post by writing that she’s working on some designs for spring (I think she’s referring to spring 2010, but I’m not sure), which is when her clothing line will return.

I love it when celebs start blogging and twittering: we get to hear directly from them.Nicole Richie has joined the blogosphere with her new blog at celebuzz.Today she talked about her appearance on the NBC show Chuck (she was great, by the way!)

I was really nervous for this role because it required extremely challenging fight scenes.

They had a martial arts trainer on set, and we trained for a week before the fight scene.

When I finally started filming, it was such a rush. I loved it! (You can watch the scene below).”
