Jennifer Aniston continues to work on her latest film, The Baster, which is scheduled to film in New York City.Miramax Films has acquired the North American rights to the film, which means that not only will the movie be shot, but it will actually be seen in theaters.That must be motivating for Jennifer and her co-star, Jason Bateman, don’t you think?

Here’s Ashton Kutcher filming scenes for his new movie, Five Killers.Right now they’re shooting in Nice, France.Not a bad place to have to go to work every day Grey’s Anatomy’s Katherine Heigl is Ashton’s co-star in the film, along with Tom Selleck and Catherine O’Hara.That’s an interesting cast.This is what Five Killers is about:

A vacationing woman meets her ideal man, leading to a swift marriage.
Back at home, however, their idyllic life is upset when they discover
their neighbors could be assassins who have been contracted to kill the
couple."

So I’m guessing Ashton and Katherine are the newlyweds, while Tom and Catherine are the assassins?According to IMDb, the film is scheduled to be released next year.Does it sound like something you’d want to see?

I knew this day would come.After Star Jones’ last couple of years on The View, from her elaborate wedding to her amazing (and mostly unexplained) weight loss to her, um, memorable exit from the show, I knew that one day, we’d hear Star’s side of the story.She finally opened up to Oprah Winfrey.

‘I’m still 300 lbs. in my head some days,’ the lawyer and TV personality, 47, tells Oprah Winfrey on Wednesday’s Oprah.

‘I was a little late getting up [today], and I’m always up at 6:00 a.m.
But I realized that we were gonna talk about this and it scared me a
bit.’

Pressed by Winfrey about what scared her,
Jones responds, ‘Disappointing people. I was ashamed … That’s the word
that is actually the real word. I was ashamed that I couldn’t control
my weight, that I was an addict for all practical purposes, that I had
never stuck to a real diet, that I’d never stuck to a real exercise
program.’ "

Star also responded to Barbara Walters, who said that part of the reason Star’s popularity took a dip and she was let go from The View was because of her refusal to discuss how she was losing weight.

‘I was hurt and upset initially.’

Now, however, she says, ‘I’m so sorry that I placed a burden on
my colleagues. I never asked them to lie and don’t know where the
Pilates and portion control’ – an explanation for her dramatic
weight-loss that circulated at the time – ‘came from. I think a tabloid
actually wrote that.’"

I’ve always thought of Star as a perfect example of the double-edge sword of living in the public eye.Whatever you may think of her, her weight issue was clearly a very sensitive topic, and for her to lose her job because she didn’t want to share it with the world makes sense (given the nature of her job), but it just seems really tough.

I didn’t know this was possible, but it sounds like it’s working for TV host Rachael Ray!She was preparing to have surgery on her vocal cords to remove a benign cyst when a possible alternative was offered: lessons with a vocal coach to learn how to talk differently.

‘I have learned how to breathe, to use my cords differently,’ Ray, 40,
tells PEOPLE. ‘I had been tilting my head in a way when I talked that
wasn’t good for my throat. I’ve been working on all of that, and it
seems to be helping.’

‘It was decided that … through voice therapy, in six months my vocal
cords would be as good as can be,’ says Ray. ‘Now I see my vocal coach
twice a week, and it’s really helped a lot.’ "

Surgery in general is no fun, and inside your throat?Really no fun, so I don’t blame Rachael for searching for alternatives!Rachael said she may still need surgery in the future but not for now.

Now, of course, I’ll have to listen to see if she sounds different

Private Practice star Taye Diggs and his wife, Broadway actress and singer Idina Menzel, are expecting their first child!Those two have been together for so long (13 years total, including six years of marriage), I thought they’ddecided not to have children, but hey, everyone has their own timetable.

Idina said Taye was willing to talk about children before even discussing marriage!

‘He wouldn’t talk about marriage, but he’d talk about me having his
children,’ she told Us. ‘He’s always wanted kids. He grew up with four
younger brothers and sisters, so he’s very comfortable around children.’ “

He sounds like one excited father-to-be Congratulations to the couple!
