Last week was merely an aberration. Kendra Wilkinson, former girlfriend of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner and current fiancee to NFL player Hank Baskett, says she’s feeling confident in her intellectual prowess.

‘Right now I think I’m the smartest I’ve ever been,’ she says in an interview with E!’s Daily 10 scheduled to air Monday. ‘I’m doing everything great now and everything perfect.’

‘Like with this taxes stuff,’ Wilkinson, 23, says. ‘I’m getting better
at that. I’m making sure everything is a write-off. Every single
thing.’ "

LOL! It is smart to get as many legitimate write-offs as you can.

By now we all know Scarlett Johansson has been cast as the Black Widow in Iron Man 2 (which reportedly includes a latex costume as her superhero suit). Apparently, some articles have claimed she is losing an unhealthy amount of weight for the role. Scarlett has responded publicly.

‘Claims have been made that I’ve been on a
strict workout routine regulated by co-stars, whipped into shape by
trainers I’ve never met, eating sprouted grains I can’t pronounce and
ultimately losing 14 pounds off my 5’3″ frame,’ Scarlett…
wrote.

‘Losing 14 pounds out of necessity in order to live a healthier
life is a huge victory. I’m a petite person to begin with, so the idea
of my losing this amount of weight is utter lunacy. If I were to lose
14 pounds, I’d have to part with both arms. And a foot. I’m frustrated
with the irresponsibility of tabloid media who sell the public ideas
about what we should look like and how we should get there.’ "

Scarlett denies doing any "crash dieting" or participating in any "miracle workouts." Instead, she said she is losing weight the old fashioned way: eating healthy and exercise.

Good for her!

Jason Priestley has a lot going on! On the work front he’s directing television episodes (including at least one episode for the new 90210), and on the home front he’s expanding his family! The rep for Jason and his wife, Naomi Lowde, has confirmed to Us Weekly that the couple are expecting their second child.

‘I love being a father. It’s totally ineffable,’ he told ABC News Now’s What’s the Buzz shortly after ][his daughter’s birth. ‘I love changing diapers. I love the whole thing — I’m all in.’

‘The time we’re going to get to spend with our daughter actually being
an infant is so short that I really want to have that time with her,’
Priestley said. ‘The fractured sleep that you get, the whole experience
– I really want have it all and soak it in.’ "

In order to "soak it in" with their daughter, Ava, (21 months old), Jason and Naomi chose not to hire a nanny.
