Once I got home, hubby and I went on our date since it’s Tuesday and that’s what we do each week. We saw Crank with Jason Staham and it was really good. At least, the directing of the movie – amazing. Have to look up who did it because it was really unique and fun to watch!

The ending was HORRRRIBBBLLLEEE – but the rest of the film was cool.

Paula Abdul says her "free-form feedback style" on American Idol (as well as the way she appeared on her 2007 Bravo reality TV show) have led people to wonder if she abuses alcohol or prescription drugs. She answers that speculation once and for all in an interview with Nightline’s Cynthia McFadden. Access Hollywood got a preview.

‘Never. I’ve never been drunk in my life,’ she
told Cynthia. ‘I don’t like it. It’s not my thing. Spending money on
clothes and shoes that’s another thing.’ "

But what about when Paula was suffering chronic pain from a neck injury in 1992?

‘No, no, no, no, no. Will not take those
drugs,’ she said referring to prescription pain medications. ‘And you
can check my medical records there is nothing like that. I was never on
Oxycontin or Vicadin or anything like that. I was on nerve medicine and
anti-inflammatories.’"

And what about Paula’s Bravo show, where it looked like she wasn’t "reallythere," according to Cynthia?

‘Because I’m falling asleep and a camera is on
me,’ Paula explained. ‘I don’t have anything that is shameful. I don’t
have anything to be embarrassed about that was not accurate
documentation of my life.’ "

Everything certainly sounds plausible to me. It sounds like the speculation must be getting to Paula if she feels the need to have a sit-down interview on ABC to address it!
