My last post was about coupons… and this one is about me spending money on shoes. Sigh – I am such a hypocrite! I know…

But at 35 bucks each, I couldn’t resist! I was desperately in need of some comfy flats for the spring / summer.

I ran into DSW today on my way back from Target and snagged these two deals.

I think I am going to start showing what I buy on the blog -but using my Blackberry to upload the image. That way it’s easier for me to do it all at once.

Remember that play date I told you about at the park this morning? Well, I went and was inspired! My friend Pam told me about the way she manages coupons and it made my ziplock bag look like a disaster!

She uses a photo album and splits out each type of coupon by type. I just had food and non-food. But she took it a step further and did it by aisle. AMAZING!

Well, I ran to Target and picked up this little auto-record holder. It’s really meant to keep your insurance, license, etc from your car – but I transformed it into a coupon holder. I also added a little notebook so I can start tracking the lowest prices for items we always use.

I buy orange juice every week – but I can’t tell you what I spend. My memory fails me in this department.

So I thought to track the normal buys so I can learn when I really am getting a deal.

Yes, I am using coupons, but sometimes I am probably spending more because I don’t know another supermarket is offering the same item for less!

1. This pint-sized actress is best known for her TV work, but her movie
   roles have been hits and we’re pretty sure that she’s on her way to the
   A-list of the silver screen. Anyway, she has become well-known in
   Hollywood for sweet ways when it comes to coffee consumption. She’s
   made a habit of tipping $20 when she buys a cup, and now she’s often
   paying for the person in line behind her on top of it. What a great way
   to be!

   his show is delayed by hours everyday, because our actor refuses or is
   unwilling to learn his lines each day and therefore necessitates take
   after take after take for him to finish his scenes.
4. As a guy, this one is extremely painful to write. This A list movie
   actor who was also a star on television has a scene in a recent movie
   where he strips down to his underwear. Because of the lighting no one
   noticed anything amiss. It was only when the movie was being edited
   that his penile piercing was noticed through the underwear. A large
   piercing that had to be digitally removed.

Pregnant with her fourth child, Heidi Klum admits to having one little wish: for another daughter. She has one daughter, Leni, from a previous relationship, and two sons, Henry and Johan, with husband Seal, so it makes sense that another girl would even things out!

‘We’d be happy with either,’ she tells Us Weekly in her only
interview about her fourth pregnancy. ‘But it would be a lie if I said
we all weren’t hoping for a little girl — especially Leni, because she
would love to have a little sister.

‘She’ll say, ‘I hope it’s a girl so she can be in my room, and I’m going
to help you and I’m going to change the diapers and I’m going to be a
really good sister!’ Klum continues."

I can completely understand poor Leni’s wish; she’s probably suffering from boy overload with two little brothers!

Jennifer Lopez opened up with Rachel Ray about her twins, one-year-olds Emme and Max. She says they’re both like her but in different ways. Emme, according to her mother, has some “divalike tendencies.”

‘We call her Emme-tude because we’re like, ‘She’s giving us Emme-tude right now,’Lopez, 39, tells Rachael Ray in an interview scheduled to air on her talk show Friday. ‘She gets that from her dad. I’m kidding – she gets it from me.’”

As for Max:

‘Me and Marc are always claiming he’s got my head and he’s got my mouth,’ she says.

‘You
want it all to be you,’ Lopez says, adding, [Emme's] got my little
body.’ ‘That’s the nature of who we are; we can’t help it. We’re both
trying to steal it all.’ “

They sound so cute!

Forget Comi-Con: ‘Twilight’ fans will now have their own convention to attend. Texas will host a convention dedicated solely to the ‘Twilight’ series called TwiCon!

It will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel for “series inspired music and fun” from July 30 – August 2.

Tickets go on sale May 1.
