From what I’ve seen, other contestants have lost their crown, I don’t think this girl was targeted for her comment on gay marriage. The pictures were the reason she was brought up on charges of violating her contract not her opinions.

Carrie didn’t say she didn’t believe in equality for all. She said exactly what Obama did “A marriage should be between a man and a woman”. So if you’re so unhappy about her point of view and want her crown then maybe you should ask Obama to resign too. I don’t know why everybody is so worked up that a pageant contestant doesn’t believe in gay marriage. How is that going to influence your state representative?

As someone who lives in california I resent people saying the majority of people here want to ban marriage for gay people. Mormons from Utah poured into our state and spent $80 million dollars on a smear campaign. They told people their priests and pastors could be arrested if they would not marry gays they told people that children would learn about gay sex acts in school all lies. Even with all the lies they only won 52% to 48% . The national polling is 50/50 with an average of 6% more Americans changing their mind and supporting gay marriage every month for the last 6 months. The bigots will lose on this issue. The Miss Ca. is a spokesperson job she didn’t answer the question he actually asked and the answer she gave did not make any sense that is why she did not win. She seems very proud to be for denying Americans rights I’m sure there were people who were proud of supporting segregation they were wrong and so is she.

How many states have put Gay Marriage on the ballot for voters the past two elections? How many of those states approved gay marriage via the voters?

Answer: VOTERS overwhelmingly oppose gay marriage!!!!! The few states that allow gay marriage due so via courts throwing out the voters will (election results). To claim the “national polling” shows this issue is a 50/50 split with more and more people supporting gay marriage every day is almost as nonsensical as blaming the gay marriage ban in California on out of state mormons.

I never heard he say she was against legal partnerships for gays. Just against them being ‘married’ which is actually a religious sacrament. In fact I believe that most churches have given the same opinion, if not being totally against gay partnerships of any kind, and I don’t see anyone leaving their church in disgust.
