Nicole Richie has no plans to marry Joel Madden at the moment.
The ‘Simple Life’ star – who has a 15-month-old daughter Harlow with the
Good Charlotte rocker and another baby on the way – is focusing on her
growing family, but hopes to wed "one day".
Speaking on ‘Larry King Live‘ last night, the
27-year-old socialite said:

"When I was a little girl I dreamed about
getting married and that is definitely still a dream of mine one day.
"But right now, we’re really, really focused on our family, we’re focused on
our foundation and as far as feeling that need of commitment, we both really
have that in each other."

The couple – who have been dating since 2006 – are eagerly awaiting the
birth of their second child, but don’t want to find out the sex of the baby.

"We want the surprise. What is there really to plan? I’ll get
the clothes after."

Well, that’s one way to look at it! I absolutely needed to know with both of my kids.

Nicole’s father Lionel Richie was also on the show and admitted he is hoping for a boy.

"Joel and I are having powwows. I
want a grandson."

Nicole added:

"You should here them prepping each other, wishing for a boy".

LOL! As if anything you can do matters at this point!!

It was Nicole and Lionel’s first joint interview in six years. They also
spoke about Nicole’s stint in rehab for drug abuse in 2003.

"When she checked into rehab, her mother and I checked into
rehab with her. Me and her mother Brenda spent a week in there with her.
Tough love is very hard when you’re in love."

I can’t imagine what it must feel like to watch your child go through rehab.

While Candy Spelling was being interviewed by Massachusetts’ 94.7 WMAS-FM’s Kellogg Krew, they naturally brought up the ongoing feud she has been having with her daughter. And Candy held nothing back…

“My daughter one
day decided that she wasn’t speaking to my husband, myself and my son and
that’s how it’s continued for the last, oh gosh, four or five years.

“And it was sad, that’s what killed my husband actually. He just didn’t want
to live after that. He has just done everything he could possibly do for his
daughter and she wanted no part of him once he couldn’t do anything for
her.”

The interview was supposed to be to promote her newest book ‘Stories From Candyland’ , but somehow it always ends up going back to Tori. So sad that Candy uses this feud to generate publicity. Although if you ask her, Candy just says she was speaking the truth.

“I didn’t intend to create headlines. I was asked a question about
my daughter not speaking with my family, and I answered truthfully. My
husband was very ill, and he had stopped eating and taking liquids. He
called Tori on a daily basis, and never stopped asking if Tori had returned
his call. We had to say no every day.”

Here is the best part – Candy is still claiming she wants to mend the relationship and she doesn’t know why they aren’t speaking.

“I’ve always been trying to work on the relationship. I don’t
know what the anger is.”

UMMMM – maybe because the one person who you are suppose to trust more than life itself just went on a radio statio and said you killed your father.Call me crazy – but both parties need to take a little blame here. Right?

It’s a remake – but what ISN’T these days?!

Kelly Brook is set to star in the 3D remake of horror movie ‘Piranha’.
The British beauty – who is dating rugby star Danny Cipriani – has flown to
the US to team up with former adult movie star Riley Steele, Jerry
O’Connell, Jessica Szohr, Elizabeth Shue and Richard Dreyfuss for a sexy remake of the 1978
cult killer fish film.

Sounds like a good cast. Elizabeth Shue has been on my top five favorite actress list since ‘Adventures in Babysitting‘. Anything she does, I am game for.

Riley said:

“Me and Kelly go out in a boat and basically try to get innocent
Jessica Szohr from ‘Gossip Girl’ to become a wild girl. So, I’m basically
playing myself!

“Then all these piranhas attack and everyone starts dying.

A huge piranha
eats through my head and comes out of my mouth. The death scene is in 3D,
eating through our faces, everything. I can’t wait.”

Kelly – who will play college girl Dani, Riley’s on-screen best friend – has
already become distracted by her co-star’s X-rated past.
Riley explained:

“She’s like, ‘I have so many questions for you.’ She wants
to know all about my porn career.”

The movie, entitled ‘Piranha 3D’, will be set around the July 4 weekend
celebrations in Lake Victoria, Arizona. Sounds interesting to anyone? I am so there!!

Happy Burberry Day! Burberry recently announced
that Thursday, May 28, 2009 has been declared Burberry Day in New York
City. The proclamation was made by New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Wednesday.

To celebrate Burberry Day and the recent move to new headquarters on Madison Avenue,
they held an exclusive party and switched on the
Burberry lights in NYC. Guests included Blake Lively, Claire Danes, Hugh Dancy and Orlando Bloom and Helena Christensen.

Sounds like quite a party : )

This is why I love Hollywood. Just when you think you couldn’t possibly be in love with enough leading men – another one pops up and steals your heart. Does Chris Hemsworth look familiar to you? He played Capt. James T. Kirk’s father George in the Star Wars remake. Ok, so he is only on the big screen for a few minutes – but that man had me crying like a child once his scene was over!

People Magazine is reporting that Chris has snagged the lead role in Thor – a title which was heavily being pushed towards Daniel Craig but which was refused by the Bond actor.

I can’t wait to see this one more often!

And just a bit of family news – he has two brothers and they are both actors. His youngest is starring in Nicholas Sparks’ latest, ‘The Last Song‘, alongside Miley Cyrus.

He claims everything written about his has been false, so I suppose it’s no big deal that Jon Gosselin of ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8‘ was seen out once again with a few female friends drinking at a bar.

While Kate Gosselin took their 8 children to North Carolina, Jon stood behind and instead spent Memorial Day weekend with some friends.

"They came in, approached the bar, got some drinks and then stood off on their own by a railing," says a bouncer who checked Jon’s ID. "They were laughing and talking and they all left together."

The bouncer says Jon and the younger woman, "were standing close at one point … but there was not any PDA that I noticed."

At least the bouncer didn’t make anything up or exaggerate! That’s certainly a change.

Manager Robb Tanczos says Jon drank Miller Lite and also confirms nothing was romantic.

"I didn’t see any
kissing, touching, caressing or anything like that," he says. "They
just kind of chilled."

After 40 minutes or so, people started to recognize who Jon was and attempted to take pictures of him with their cell phones. That’s when the crowd spread out and eventually left the Newburgh bar.

Sources say Jon and his two friends spent about 40 minutes in the outdoor area of the Newburgh bar and left after it appeared people began noticing they were there.

"People tried taking cell phone pictures and they turned around to face the railing and kind of spread out so they weren’t standing so close," says the bouncer.
"I think once people recognized him they left," adds Tanczos.

Jon wasn’t cheating – but he wasn’t with his family on the holiday either. There is obvious strain. Hopefully, they will each make some time for counseling.
