How Much Would You Pay To Date Orlando Bloom?

Posted on June 19, 2009 at 9:12 AM

Are you a big Orlando Bloom fan? If you are, then how much would you be willing to pay for a date?

As part of a charity auction to benefit London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital, Orlando auctioned off a date to himself for nearly $15,000 dollars.

Would a date with the dreamy Orlando be worth that type of money to you? (It’s going to a good cause, after all ;)

Who cares that he’s rumored to be engaged to Miranda Kerr?

  1. Poor guy hasn’t done a very good job at managing his career (or else needs a new agent!) He took a loooong break from movies after the Pirates films. Without keeping his name on the forefront, people forgot about him and move to the next big thing quickly. At one point a few years ago, he was hugely popular but now the young women/girls have Shia or Robert to crush on, and the older women prefer someone manlier and more mature, Daniel Craig, Brad Pitt, Clooney, etc. Zac Efron better take notes, else his career could go the same way. I think that’s what Efron’s trying to avoid.

  2. He’s cute and he seems like a really sweet guy. It’s for a good cause. I’d pay IF I had that kind of money to throw around – but I don’t, worthy cause or not. I certainly like him better than some of the other egomaniacs in Hollywood – at least I’ve heard he’s always nice to his fans.

  3. Did anyone see him on Extras? lol It was funny because the seamstress on ugly Betty ( I forget her name but shes the blond ) doesnt find him attractive and he just cant wrap his head around it.

  4. HAHAHA on Extras Orlando kept talking about how none of the girls liked Johnny but loved him. They would keep asking Orlando who the skid in the corner was hahahah

  5. It doesn’t mean you get to date him! It’s A DATE, singular. For charity. I wouldn’t do it because I’m married, but I think it’s a fun way to raise money. It’s just dinner, and maybe a show/movie, for Pete’s sake.
